Tomoshiraga means to turn gray hair together ~ Kokeshi Dolls ~ Approximately 4.75 -5 inches tall with a base of 1 7/8 inches in diameter with the body and head wider than the base. These beautiful Kokeshi dolls are hand carved from wood that has been dried in the sun for up to 12 months. The carved dolls are polished and hand painted then finished with a layer of lacquer. A wonderful example of Japanese craftsmanship. Handcrafted in Japan.
