Not worth the $$
They should have charged 99 cents for this. This was my first and last magazine purchase from amazon. I should have read all the gotchas in the hidden accordions about this magazine.I gave them the 2 stars for the smooth purchase and delivery process.Cons:- lack of photos and their lame excuse about a better experience for your device. People need to stop with nonsense like that. We're adults. We can handle the truth not this marketing nonsense.- Not all devices are supported.I saw this issue at the airport and thought it would be better to have this on my mobile device. I wanted this issue because of all the great photos in the cover story. Surprised me that none of those great photos were on the kindle version. For another $2 I could have bought the printed copy at the airport. The printed copy is mobile too. :)But seriously amazon. If you want this part of your business to take off you need to have a better product or a much much lower price.

Informative travel magazine with luscious photography.
This magazine gives current travel information in a style that is very National Geographic. Nice to finally get a digital version as the Society itself cannot provide me with such a version.

Don't subcribe if you use Android
I have tried this app on both iPad and an Android tablet and saw a huge difference. On the iPad, the magazine is just like the print copy, with beautiful pictures and nice fonts. The pictures are actually better on the screen, because of the nice iPad display. But on the Android tablets, all the nice features of the magazine is gone. What is left is lines and lines of texts. I have to say, viewing the free contents on the magazine's website is better than this paid subscription. It is really hard for me to think of why Amazon/Kindle makes such a large difference for the same app on different devices. It is really disappointing. I have an Android tablet and the only way I can view the original magazine digitally is through Kindle, please fix the problem.

An invaluable asset for the Armchair Traveller
Feel the magnificent vision of the Great Wall as it wanders 6.5 miles through China's Hebei Province, marvel at the splendour of Romania's painted monasteries and savour the taste of Laos soup. All within a few pages of this colour filled magazine.
