I was looking for something to attach 1" nylon webbing straps to our LivinLite Quicksilver popup to keep the mattresses from falling out when closed up. Unlike traditional popup trailers, ours has a tent top with bimini poles and the beds/mattresses fold down to close everything up. These Footman's Loops were perfect for this!Just wish it didn't take me so long (2+ years) to figure out what these were called so I could search for them - tried many other things, i.e. D-loops, kayak tie downs, etc. which did not work. These seem well built and will likely last as long as our trailer. Don't know if they will remain rust free so holding back one star until we put a year or so on the installation.

I use these in a communications trailer to hold monitors down with a strap. My only complaint is with the screws. They are made of very low quality metal. They might be ok for pre drilled holes in soft wood, but I twisted off three putting them in pre drilled holes in aluminum sheet metal. I tossed them and used self tapping screws.

I have used these for fastening strap in several different situations. Anyplace you drill holes to mount them is preferable. Either as a permanent strap mount, or in one where you wish to remove, and re-connect.

A million tie down uses. Quality at s fair price. Almost identical to WWII military vehicle tie downs. Excellent product,

Very well made SS bimini brackets. Works great with 1" ratchet tie downs.
