Large volume is convenient, but you have to pour the water to the incoming reservoir several times to fill it

I tried my hardest to just drink tap water but finally caved and got this filter and have not been disappointed. I'm not entirely sure how to describe the taste of it - there definitely is one - but I enjoy it and it tastes fresh. Easy to use and would recommend to anyone looking for a filter with magnesium as an added bonus!

Well the jug is very nice, classy even, however, there are a couple of niggles with it. First, the lid has to be sort of ‘snapped’ onto the jug, which is a good idea, because it stops the lid from falling off when you use the jug, however, I’m not sure how long the lid will last before it breaks due to this. Then there’s the quoted size of “4.2 litres”, I’m not at all sure exactly what that measurement is referring to, as the jug is only large enough to actually hold 1.5 litres or 3 pints of filtered water, which is only just over a THIRD of the advertised measurement! Also, it takes quite a while to actually filter 1.5 litres or 3 pints of water through the filter, as the container in the top of the jug only holds around 1 litre or 2 pints of water itself, so you have to wait for the first 1 litre or 2 pints of water to filter through the filter and into the jug below before you can add the final half a litre or 1 pint! Having said all that however, the jug is quite attractive, it is easier to fit the filter cartridges than my previous Aquaphor water filter jug, which was an absolute pain to change the water filters in! Also, finally, the filtered water is completely clear and free from any sort of contaminants, so it makes lovely coffee, tea and squash! I would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying a water filter jug, as the Aquaphor brand is far superior to the other ‘well known’ water filter brands on the market, and their actual water filter cartridges do a far more thorough job at filtering out all impurities and heavy metals in tap water, if you don’t believe me when I tell you this, go and check out some of the water filter cartridge comparisons on the subject in YouTube, it was watching a few of the available videos on YouTube that convinced me to purchase my very first Aquaphor water filter jug several years ago, and I have been very pleased with their performance overall.

Chemical taste in the filters that NEVER DISAPEAR. I had to stop using mine. Suppose to have magnesium in which taste goes away. It does not and filters are exspensive. Strong chemical taste. Made me nauseous

Although this filter jug doesn’t fit in the fridge door I really like it. It looks good on the table if you want to have it out and holds a lot of liquid. I also like the filter reminder on the top. I looked at a lot of them before making up my mind and I’m so pleased I chose this one.

Ich bin von dem Artikel begeistert. Verarbeitung und Optik sind top. Die Handhabung sowie der Filter-Einsatz sind schnell und einfach. Für die Familie ist in diesem Fall auch das Fassungsvermögen von ca. 4 Litern Wasser ein absoluter Pluspunkt.

Die Kanne ist voll etwas schwer, was ja logisch ist bei den vielen Litern Wasser. Daran musste ich mich erst gewöhnen. Aber ansonsten sehr formschön, unkompliziert zu befüllen und endlich immer genug Wasser vorhanden.

La caraffa è bella e capiente. Il sapore dell'acqua è ottimo! Sulle istruzioni c'è scritto di lasciare il filtro in acqua fredda per 10 mns poi riempire la caraffa un paio di volte e buttare l'acqua. Consiglierei di lasciare il filtro in ammollo per più tempo perché dopo aver seguito le istruzioni il sapore dell'acqua era un po' strano. Ho riempito per la 3° volta la caraffa e poi buttato l'acqua. Il sapore era a questo punto ottimo!
