Other then all the wires you have to find a place for , it was easy to hookup and made my Alpine double din work great with no engine noise

This may be a good harness/module. But I believe this item may have been causing electric issues in my Impala 2011.I was getting error codes, had them checked by a good shop in town, and they claimed nothing was wrong with the car.This led me to believe it was this unit. I was getting "Service Stabilitrak" "Service Brake Assist" among other error codes. Such as Transmission Control Module errors (noticed transmission slipping/shifting a little rougher.)At one point, my entire dash/cluster shut off. I had illumination, but no speedometer, no fuel gauge, no temp gauge, and no tachometer gauge. The check engine light came on as well. After letting the car sit for a few days, everything magically worked again... I have been having a hell of time finding a good harness/module for my car that doesn't cause false error codes. While I cannot be %100 sure it was this product, I am almost sure it is. I suppose I could drive around with nothing attached to cars wire harness just to make sure to see if they errors come back. But to be honest I really can't stand taking my whole center console apart just to make sure. I have since purchased a different brand harness/module. I'm considering getting a whole new system... nothing but an absolute headache.

Worst junk ever.
Good thing I purchased this from warehouse deals very low cost. Package was missing the chime (cmx) module plus I didn't realize this OS5 doesn't include the steering wheel control module. Also the on-star connection provided is just 3 individual wires that I need to connect with solder myself to someplace that I have no idea where. Yet it advertise complete factory options retention. Yeah if I manually do it myself. Total junk. Total rip off. PAC scam to get money.
