This was a fun thing we did at work for handwashing. I told my coworkers that the lotion was to help them clean their hands. And then used the black light to see the dirty hands. It was hilarious to watch them scrub their hands!! Would be great for a classroom experiment

We used this at the begining of the school year to show the importance of washing our hands. My 75 students were shocked at how much harder they needed to work when washing their hands.

I'm a school nurse and at the beginning of each school year I do a presentation in each elementary classroom on the importance of hand washing and how germs are EVERYWHERE! I "share" my lotion with the students and then show them my "pretend" germs with a black light. Afterwards I have them wash their hands and check to see how well they got rid of the germs. They think it's the coolest thing ever! For the rest of the year, the students tell me how much they've washed their hands.
