Easy to fit - no protrusions on current version
Seems like a very good quality secure cylinder. Reviews & some photos suggest there are protrusions on the outside of the cylinder, making it difficult to fit. This wasn't the case with the one I received.A few comments:Spare keys are expensive - a set of 3 keys from Yale are a similar price to the cylinder, which came with 3 keys.I took the cylinder to a hardware store and got keys cut from an original. I took the cylinder with me, so they could check they all fitted (both ways round).The blunt-ended key design means it can be fiddly to put the key in, so maybe not ideal for elderly relatives.The cylinder I received was in a clear plastic bag, presumably trade rather than retail packaging. The keycode wasn't visible but theoretically the supplier could have opened & repackaged the cylinder for all I know. Good job it wasn't for our house!

Very good quality
Bought it to replace my old one which was broken after use. It was easy to install and fit really well. So far working great, good quality for the price. Recommend

30 seconds to fit!
As advertised, simple to fit literally 30 seconds. Just make sure you put the shear part to the outside of the door.Why people get locksmiths out to do them baffles me. Cross head screwdriver, put the key in and rotate so you can remove the old lock, and reverse for fitting. So simple!

Remember and remove the door handles
Euro lock arrived this afternoon.Fitted in 5 mins.Some reviewers are commenting on filing of the bumps on the euro lock to fit.If you remove the door handles and then push the euro lock into the door aperture from the outside it will then go in 3/4 way you then fit the supplied key and turn the lock to align up the tumbler and then push in until the retaining hole in the lock lines up with the hole on the door fit retaining bolt (supplied) or fit the original,then fit handles job done.
