Q: what are the dimensions

The useable area of the pan his about 13-5/8" long by 9-3/4 wide by 3-3/4" deep. The plastic lid adds about an inch in height.

Q: can you use in 500 degree oven

Restricted temp. is usually for pans with a coating or not steel or too thin. Anything that is made solid and doesn't warp is safe to use at the highest oven setting which mine is 550 degrees. might even be able to use the broil setting but don't set right under it. If you are in doubt then don't!

Q: Is this pan dishwasher-safe?

Sorry, I don't have a dishwasher...put it's easy to hand wash in the sink.

Q: what gauge stainless steel is this?

i am not sure this is the same pan than I purchased. If it is ... it is on the thin side but the pan is has been very usable
