Beautiful designs and they can be made up into very artistic and amusing combinations. It needed someone who had made up birthday hats from similar cones to show the way. The glue tabs were quite effective, and any failures were helped by what the BBC used to call 'sticky-back plastic!' TBH, the small 'failures' were rather endearing and lent character to the creations - we had a small exhibition, and makers and fellow makers were happy and impressed. 1/2 an hour of good fun.. recommendable for corporate team building or ice breaking at a course!

This is a great craft product, my 4 and 8 year olds loved it and wanted to make more hats. Apparently we all have to wear them on Easter. Great materials. We added some tacky glue for the Pom-poms and it helps if you soften up the top paper at the top of the hat with your fingers. The carton is really good quality.

I bought this for a 4th birthday party. The hats and elastic were very easy to assemble (by an adult), with bright cheerful colours. The children loved the pompoms and eyes, but the arms/hair were too fiddly for that age so we did not do them. Instead, we used some of our own stickers, which worked perfectly. The main criticism is that the glue dots were quite fiddly, so I recommend having some glue/sticky tape on hand!! Overall, a very good product, and I would buy it again.

I got these for my toddler's cousins to enjoy at a family gathering. I thought that they'd just be able to work away and make the hats themselves, but they required a decent amount of input from me to get them assembled and help things stick. The kids were a bit disappointed with how tricky it all was, things just werent sticking and they needed an adult's help.

These were so much fun for a birthday activity during lockdown for my twins 25th birthday! We all got so involved to make the best one x

I ordered these to celebrate my daughter’s 6th birthday but like all birthdays in lockdown things are a little trickier. So I ordered your pack, split it up and took them to friends houses so they could make them. We then all got together on zoom to sing Happy Birthday. She loved it! Thank you so much for a wonderful resource. Would definitely buy again!

A great pack with everything that you need to make exciting hats, however it was really difficult to get the pompoms to stay stuck to the top

We needed an activity for a party, something not too noisy. It was my three-year-old's birthday, so parents would be on hand. This looked to be a good option, with 12 hats to make and all the pieces needed included in the pack. Nice thick cardboard, lots of varied eyes and stickers and body parts, it did need some adult assistance to get started and the party attendees mostly decorated. The hats looked great when finished, and we have kept the leftovers for another time. The children enjoyed the activity, which kept their attention for 10 minutes. A little fiddly to start with for young children, but a lovely idea.

We purchased these to make Easter hats in our preschool and the children loved all the different additions. We even added our own from nature. A great kit to help with hat making
