I had to purchase a new router ecosystem because my Skil Router would no longer hold it's depth settings. so I purchased the Bosch 1617 EVSPK Router Combo Kit and the Bosch Router Table RA1181with an additional Fixed base. When I was taking the Skil router table down I noticed a label on it which said Robert Bosch Company. My skil table quick release wasn't compatible with the Bosch Fixed base otherwise I probably would have used my Skil Router Table. I will say the Bosch Router table 1181 is much nicer. The MDF platform was ok except dust go in on the plastic edges and the edges separated from the table slightly. I'm a very light DIY type of person. If my Skil Router had a more robust/accurate depth guide I probably would still be using it. **Q: Does this work with the bosch colt?** A: Hi there! Colt or Palm Routers are too small to be mounted under a router table like RA1141. It's very light which actually creates a problem, you need to use the holes to bolt this thing down while working with it. But since it is portable I don't see that as a fault but rather a requirement of the unit. Changing the bit is a bit harder than I would like but I'd rather it be inconvenient than have the router come lose in use. But it is very easy to remove the router with the snap plate in the bottom. Also, it fits most routers, but make sure you look in to it, if you already have a router, make very sure the model number is supported, I had to buy another router. Not that I needed much encouragement to upgrade it:) The only complaint I have is that the leg storage doors are poorly fitted, they don't like to stay closed and I can't trust them to stay closed and not spill out their contents with light movement. Some magnetic latches would have done some amazing value, the plastic clip like shutter just is not up to the task. As such I end up not using the leg storage and that really is the only problem I have with the unit. I do wish the back fence would be moved back more, it will require me to use it mostly with the fence off and that's why in the photo the fence and guard are both removed. It was just overly limiting, but I will eventually built this unit in to my work bench and then use the same spot to house it with a lid to return my work bench space when not in use by lowering the legs to store it. All and all I would recommend this unit to someone who has very limited space as I do, or someone who needs to travel with the unit.
