I had blooms all over the place. This is NOT even decent watercolor paper. What a waste of money

I don’t know, it works ok for me.
I seem to do ok with this paper. No, it’s not Arches but it’s good for practice. I wet mine and let it dry before I start, maybe that’s why I don’t get the paper towel effect others mentioned.

Not proper watercolor paper
It's really not the right type of paper for watercolor and probably shouldn't be labelled as such. Your standard weight for watercolor seems to be 140lb and this is 90, it is simply not up to par and warps and won't take water very well when painting.Im giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because despite this, I feel like it's probably good for other things for the money*, like maybe marker work or heavy sketch paper. But for watercolor painting it frankly sucks.(*Just a heads up, it's 5 bucks a pad at Michael's craft store so if you're paying the listed price here you're probably messing up. And Hobby Lobby's brand is better and cheaper, as a reccomendation.)

The paper is so thin. Please buy something that is at least 140 lb. This is only 90 lb.
Bad watercolor paper

Bad quality
Awful for watercolors. Bleeds two ways. Warps paper. Wasted money.

Don't get
Just don't try it. It's very bad paper i couldn't get a flat wash, the pigment couldn't move on the paper. Just terrible.

HORRID
The WORST paper ever, like a paper towel, it will totally ruin all your projects. It soaks up everything durimg the drying perios like a horror movie you will see your work distort and morph its ghastly. Paper will also pill and get holey if you attempt any corrections. Pencil will veer croockedly in the tiny grains or fibers like the pencil is possessed when you try fine detail sketches before painting. Paper also will go patchy pale in certain areas...AVOID a nervous breakdown get Canson, you will be glad.
