My Great Pyrenees has a very thick, double coat that constantly sheds. She typically does not enjoy being brushed and I've tried so many suggested types. This brush changed that. Now she comes and practically sits in my lap she loves it so much! It doesn't get close enough to get the knots out that are close to the skin, but for an all over brush out this is perfect. She even lets me brush her tail and that is saying something!

My dog is sensitive, and is not a fan of being brushed. When I use normal "dog" grooming combs and brushes he usually runs away after one or two swipes. But this brush he doesn't mind at all. I think it's because the teeth are soft-tipped and the cushiony body doesn't apply too much pressure. Basically it's soft-enough it probably feels like a massage to him. It still grabs a ton of hair and does a really good job removing loose hair both dry and wet. All in all we're both fans. I'm not sure it would work for short-hair dogs but for my fluffy buddy it's a winner.

My dog has very long hair that tends to get dreadlocks if not brushed daily. Other brushes with metal bristles really pulled and hurt, he did not like at all. Other brushes were too soft and couldn't get into the thick fur well. Looking for a better brush I came upon this one. To my delight it works WONDERFUL!!! It has soft, flexible bristles, gets down into the thick fur really nice. My pup doesn't mind this one at all, in fact I think he likes it pretty well. Its super easy to clean out. The best dog brush hands down!!

Truthfully I didn’t like it for my mini schnauzer. It felt more like a regular brush than a dogs brush. At least for his hair it didn’t help with knots. It is nice and sturdy but definitely not for him.

This is the first product that effortlessly glides thru my Labradoodle's fur as well as our Akbash & our Anatolian/Great Pyrenees fur. The hair & fur just lifts off the brush. This brush makes brushing our fur babies a joy & greatly shortens the time it used to take to brush them..

Now I had paid $20 for a pro groomer brush for my Aussie gal. It’s garbage. It creates a static charge that neither her nor I like. It gets caught in her wet hair and is not an easy task to blow dry and brush. Yes it was specifically for under coats… lies I tell you! Using this is great! No static charge! It effectively gets the under coat so it doesn’t mat, as the length of the bristles are adequate. It’s able to be used easily with the blow dryer. It doesn’t pull her hair. Making grooming a pleasure - which is great because she loves to be pampered! It’s nice they offer these because I’d just order a light colored one and write dog on it.This is the exact same brush that you’d use for yourself if you are familiar with the wet brushes. There is nothing different other than the handle says pet brush and has a dog design all over. These are well used. The purple one is almost 2 years old. This dog brush is about 3 weeks of daily use so far. I’ll be using it for her until it breaks or she eats it.

It's good for back brushing when you're shaving or cutting dog hair. I'm a groomer and I get quite a few dogs that hate being back brushed with a slicker or they have an already established negative association with a metal comb. I tried this on a tangled newfiedoodle and let's be honest here it didn't do the job. Barely made a dent as a detangler. Maybe if you're using this everyday, but it's not going to get you out of any weird dog hair situations with irregular use.It absolutely did the the dog fro thing, but on further inspection with a comb? It didn't get any tangles closer to the skin. Sad, but that's not why I bought this anyways.On the other hand when dogs bite to be back brushed for shave downs? This does pretty well! Took one of my regular "I'll bite you if you touch me with that slicker brush" dogs by surprise and he tolerated his shave much better than normal. I'll be honest I got tired of a few clients trying to murder me for metal combs and pokey slicker brushes. When they go to bite the brushes or combs that's a pokey metal surface that's dangerous. Didn't make me happy. Now? If they try to bite this? No harm done since the plastic bristles aren't going to poke or injure mouths. Such a huge plus.Ask any groomer accidentally picking up the bristled end of a slicker brush in your drawer or tool box hurts. I could only imagine how biting it would feel. Having a safer brush if they do bite it? I don't have to offer as firm of a correction, as if they'd try to bite my slicker/correction for their safety, and I feel like I'll be able to walk the dog out of bad mental space towards brushes with more ease and kindness.Gave 3 stars, because at least professionally this isn't going to hold up for its intended purpose.If it was marketed as a safer alternative to slicker brushes for aggressive dogs or a more gentle way to back brush (for brush sensitive dogs) I'd give that 5 stars all day. For that? It's pretty bomb.For cleaning? I get the hair out and toss it into a UVC light bag to sanitize any germs on it. A couple rounds of that and you're good to go.

This Pet Hair Brush by WET Brush is The Best for getting tangles out of 🐶 pup's fur Effortlessly! I bought the large size because I needed to have a larger handle to grip due to arthritis, (even though I have a smaller dog) and the larger handle is easy to hold and comfortable to grip. The WET Brush is lightweight, but very sturdy and easy to clean. My pup 🐶 and I will be WET Brush users from now on! I just can't believe how easily this Brush can Detangle! Definitely BUY! You and your pup 🐶 will Love ❤ it and the Results!

Where has this brush been all my life. Best brush ever for our Labradoodle and she likes it too. Goes through our dogs coat easily and leaves it fluffy and soft. Highly recommend

Very gentle! Our F1b goldendoodle (wavy/curly coat) could sleep through being brushed with it. Not great in terms of detangling/dematting though, so if I were doing a full brush, I would only use this as a first step. Our dog has sensitive skin, so this eliminates a lot of the fuss that he’d make if I went straight to using a slicker or a comb.The brush that I used for this before had slightly longer, metal ball-ended pins rather than the more pliable plastic ones that this has. It was still comfortable for him, but was able to get from root to end without me having to separate the hair into layers. I might keep looking for another one like that.

My dog has long silky fur that gets tangled easily. His tail in particular is constantly full of tangles, which is unfortunate since that is his most sensitive area for brushing.This brush is so gentle that he barely notices he is being brushed, yet it quickly gets the snarls out. His coat is now so smooth and he is a much happier pup!
