Amazon Basics 8-Piece Kitchen Steak Knife Set, 4.5", Black

I'm very pleased with these steak knives. They are nice and sturdy, well-built, and feel good in the hand. The blade is stainless steel, attached to the handle in one piece so it'll never become loose and cuts beautifully. The handle is hefty, smooth and easy to hold. I think these knives will last for many years. I don't know why I waited so long to replace my old steak knife set, especially at this price.

Wow I am really impressed with these knifes. They are super sturdy and much better than I expected, especially for the price! No hesitation in recommending this product! They may not fit in your current knife block. Due to being quite a bit larger than the knifes that came with mine, they don't quite fit. But I can store them in a drawer so no biggie.

I own sharp kitchen knives, but did not have good steak knives. These are sharp enough for use at the dinner table. I don’t use them for food prep. I use my kitchen knives. But these are sharp enough that they could be used as kitchen knives. They are robust.

If you’re looking for steak house restaurant style/size steak knives then these are what you want. They are BIG & SHARP! Not what I was looking for everyday use.

Good knives and Feel High Quality. BUT...when they say don't put them in the dishwasher and wash them by hand...DO EXACTLY THAT. I tested one in the dishwasher and after ONE wash, I could see a tiny hairline crack in the handle near one of the places where the handle bolts to the blade. No real harm done, but I suspect if I continued running these through the dishwasher, it wouldn't be long before I'd have one (or more) with broken handles. I'm still rating them 5 out of 5 because that tiny crack was more my fault than the fault of the manufacturer...they gave the appropriate instructions. Now I'm taking that caution seriously.
