Great fitness tracker.
I had an Apple watch before this which was great but nightly charging and a limited app were not ideal. This will last about a week on a charge and the app is genuinely motivating. It's become a bit more like the old Jawbone app which I loved but unfortunately fizzled out a fair few years ago. I got this for a good discount and am really pleased with it, it's not as slick as my old apple watch but if you mainly want fitness tracking I don't think you could do much better than a fitbit (I've tried quite a few) and the versa 2 is ideal with just a little bit of smart watch functionality with the main focus on tracking and fitness. It knows when I'm exercising and starts a workout and counts long walks as exercise towards my weekly goals. All targets can be edited and the weekly roundup gives you an overview of the activity etc you've done, including how it measures up against last week. I am finding this particularly useful as i can also see how my fitness bevel is affected when I'm more or less active. A soap in the face when I've had a lazy week but a useful one.The premium features may or may not be something I want to keep but with the three months free at the moment it gives you a worthwhile time to try it.I've not had any of the faff I've had with some of the other trackers I've tried, one of which was a recent Garmin hybrid watch which was a horrible disappointment and much more expensive.Recommended.

Brilliant watch, lasted 3 years...... wish they still made it 😪
Brilliant all round watch. Battery life still great after 3 years. Died a death whilst swimming yesterday, user error I am afraid as it doesn't like high pressure water and I was sat next to whirlpool jets...Annoyed with myself as I would have had replaced this with another versa 2 it was that reliable. Not convinced the versa 4 or sense 2 are better after reading those reviews. Gutted.

Love it, but has some short comings
Pre-ordered this and delivery was on time.In the box you get the watch, charger, and some straps. There's also an instruction pamphlet, but it's pretty basic. To get started properly you need to download the Fitbit app, after which the app will take you through the installation process. Be warned that there will most likely be a firmware update to go through first, so you need to have the Fitbit on charge. So the charging cable is a custom USB cable purely for the Fitbit. An industry standard cable would have been better - just one less cable to manage. The watch is easy to use. I suggest buying a custom clock face (you can do this via the app. The custom clock faces provide a lot more info). There's a lot of customisation you can do. I have the display set to off, and the watch will switch on the display if you make the action with your wrist to look at the watch (not 100% perfect though).Battery life looks to be very good. I've used the watch extensively for a 24 hour period so far, and the battery is at 84%.Edit: the battery life is awesome. I charge it once a week, even then I reckon I could get a couple more days out of the existing charge. The biggest negative for me is that the watch can sense when your exercising and start to log the activity. Only problem is that is works for some exercise types only e.g. it didn't work for when I did weight training. You do have the option to manually add the activity, or start it via the watch, but given the price of this watch it should log automatically. The other issue I found is with the app. Some clock faces require an activation code. This can only be done via clock face settings in the app, which isn't yet supported for the Versa 2. Edit: this is now fixed.Another issue I found with the app is that it doesn't log a walk properly when using GPS. I stress this is an issue with the app and not watch. What happens is the app starts to log, and then at some random point stops logging using GPS, but still provides the correct statistics, only that according to the GPS part of the stats the walk ended long before it did.I'll update this review as I delve more into the features of this watch.Edit: The watch records your sleeping heart rate, but Fitbit charge a premium for you to see YOUR data. Not impressed. That's one star knocked off

Love it - a must have!
Bought this for my partner for Christmas (I already own one too!) and once again Fitbit didn't let me down :-) the phone app syncs perfectly and seamlessly with the watch and it tracks everything from steps, virtually any sport you can think of, sleep as well as the quality of your sleep, O2 levels on your blood, heart rate, calories and even GPS runs! The virtual assistant works really well too for little easy questions, great adventures or challenges you can do alone or with friends if you feel like competing against each other and there's tons of cool apps you can install to make the most out of this watch, way better than any Apple or other brand out there!!

Great watch at a good price
I've had the versa 2 for about 2 weeks now, and I really like it. I use the always-on feature, and am still able to get 3 solid days of battery life.It does what I need:- tells time- has notifications from all the apps I consider important (GMail, Outlook, Whatsapp etc)- controls music from my iPhone (I have airpods, so it was always annoying to have to pull my phone out to change volume or song)- tracks steps- rates sleep- I don't go for runs, so I'm not worried about the lack of in-built GPSAll-in-all, I'm very happy with the purchase

Helps with health
So glad I bought this. I now know my steps and heart rate when walking. Can set as a exercise. App easy to use. Love the clock face. Doubles up as a watch. Havnt signed up to premium. Info ideal for me. Battery life good. Easy and fast charge. The strap on this model is lovely.

Great fitness tracking watch
Had this watch for a few years now and it's still great, although the battery life is a little less good (maybe 2 days now). The automatic activity tracking is much better than some other brands (e.g. Garmin) , but as there's no in build GPS it relies on your phone if you need to track on a run (which I've found not as good as other brands).Other features like the music control are great too.
