One of my favorite things about this lock that is different from many is that it will chirp several times before going off. This saves the battery, as well as reduces the likelihood of false alarms. Common examples of this (in the city) are when there is construction nearby, or a large vehicle rolls through, or you get on your own bike having forgotten to remove it -- you have a chance to do so. Otherwise, great little study lock. Fits my Vespa with 13" wheels (not a lot of clearance). Battery lasts a relatively long time.

Does everything that I need it to. The locking mechanism seems okay, not something I would trust with my motorcycle which is why I bought 1/2" hardened steel security chain to lock my bike. I use this mainly for the audible alarm. As other users have noted; the sensitivity on this is pretty good. It does not go off needlessly however if you touch the handlebars it will beep giving the person a warning. My favorite feature is that the alarm has an on/off button so it doesn't go off in my pocket while Im driving (like competitor models) EDIT: 8/30/2018... I just purchased a 2nd one of these. Because honestly, I don't want the hassle associated with some of those alarms (xenia) that are ultra sensitive. Thank god it was in stock. It didn't come with the accompanied stretcy-reminder-cable this time for some reason....

LOVE THIS BIKE ALARM. !!! if you are shopping in a mall, you may not hear it, but everyone around it well and it definitely would grab my attention. Worth every penny! I’m certainly going to buy it again ! I usually don’t write reviews, but this was worth it

Works as described. However, bought it for a bicycle. The pin doesn’t fit thru the holes in the disc. So depending on your disc’s design it may not fit securely, I was lucky. That’s the only reason it’s not 5 stars.

Put on my Terratrike front disk. Slightest movement will set off alarm. Very loud ear piercing alarm after warning alert. Stops one wheel from turning. Easy to put on, small to carry in bike bag. Will buy more for other bikes!

It does everything as detailed in the product description page. The only complaint I have is that the video shows that it is very sensitive to movement. However, in my experience, I don't think it is as sensitive to movement. I have been touching and rocking my bike, and the alarm hasn't gone off until I rock the bike with more force. I don't feel it is a 100% reliable device, but I'm buying time. Time for me to hear the alarm and go out and confront the thief.
