Bought the desk again because it's such a great item-see update in review
Update (July 2022): I had to leave my last desk at a former location and needed a new desk at my new location. With that said, I loved the so much I bought it again. First thing I noticed was that the desktop itself was a singular piece and not split into two as the previous iteration. Assembly was pretty straight forward, and the full sized pad is great. They added a cable management system to the back which is great. Also fewer pieces to assemble than when the desktop was in two pieces. The assembly directions could benefit from a bit more of "this side this direction" or larger illustrations, the only "difficult" part was the cable management box, it just didn't seem to make sense at first. The drink holder is nice, but was annoying on the front so I just used two of the pre-drilled holes on the underside to mount it to the side.Definitely can't go wrong with this desk. When the desk first arrived, my first thought was "they sent the wrong desk" as the length of the desk was about twice as long as the box. So be mindful, the top surface is in two pieces. This is where the full-sized desktop mouse pad comes in handy, though in actuality the surface would be just fine without it regarding mouse scanning abilities at high DPI settings. It seems almost more cosmetic than anything, but definitely a great feature that I had never considered.Frame is solid metal, welded securely, all the bolts fit well, I think I had one bold or machined area that didn't fit just right, but did a different bolt and seemed fine.Cross support underneath is great, the desktop material is ~1" thick and solid. Definitely great for gaming.Assembly can be a bit of a frustration. I found that the directions don't exactly show the directions of the machined holes, like is that the hole to left or the bolt hole to the left? Why would I put a flat surface on top of bolt heads, thinking the crossbar support should be flat, but that wasn't clear in directions until I was attempting to bolt the desktop to the assembled legs. Even with my errors at reading the directions, it took me less than two hours to assemble it.It is definitely a good solid desk, not like two big guys dancing on top sturdy, maybe 2 hobbits or a Dwarf and Elf sturdy. Colors are nice, the designs are stickers to be applied to the legs (or not) the covers to the leg base "T" are plastic snap on, they're more cosmetic than anything so no loss for anything there and makes the desk look nice. The accessories: Full sized mouse pad is really high quality, stitched well, absolutely no slipping. The gamepad holder is a nice add on, I probably wouldn't buy one for myself, but as the company was nice enough to add it, it's a neat feature, I have my two Xbox gamepads on it and the chargers are nice to have so I can charge my gaming headset underneath (hint: the gap between the surface and frame is great for running a USB cable back through the cable holes to the headset hook). The Cupholder. I've had them before, it's nice, but I still find myself with my cup on the desktop. The surface is quite large, for me, so plenty of space, thought now, as I've moved my PC to the right side just under the cup holder, I only use it for my water bottle as I'd still likely knock something over.Overall, it's a good quality desk at a price that is much better than any cheap knockoff one might find at a local bigbox store, or end up paying more for less.Oh, and it shipped super fast too, and this was during the COVID-19 pandemic, so hats off to the company and shippers for maintaining business.

Great Desk but you're going to work a bit for it.
I moved to my New Condo and I needed a good desk. I needed something good for work and well as watching streams and gaming. I started doing the research and finally found this beauty. After putting it together and using it for a while now I am thoroughly pleased with this purchase.Assembly wasn't the hardest, but I did make some mistakes. After first putting it together, I ended up doing some adjustments because there was a gap between the table that I wasn't willing to live with. Make SURE the desk looks the way you want. If you don't want gaps, make sure you adjust the screws and plates accordingly. It would have been easier if I had another person. If you're assembling it by yourself you're going to need to do some gymnastics and set-pieces against the wall so you can assemble them. The holes for the screws are good and the screws go in nice and tight. As I said earlier, to avoid gaps you do want to tighten them completely until you have the pieces flush together. If you do the above the desk will go together well, albeit it will take you some time if you're doing it by yourself. As for the desk itself, I LOVE it!!! It is very sturdy and can take me leaning on it a bit. I'm a big guy (350 plus) so that's important. Good solid wood and metal supports make this desk sturdy and robust enough to take whatever I throw at it. I have my laptop Amazon Basics Arm Mount and a 34-inch monitor (attached to the arm mount) and my own weight and the desk takes it well. I also LOVE the fact that the entire surface of the desk is a mousepad. Of course, you can opt NOT to use the supported mousepad table surface, but WHY?!! It's not to be able to use your mouse where you want and not have to worry about making sure you small mousepad will work/stay in place. The surface also cleans up really well too. I use it for a makeshift eating table, and when there are stains, etc the surface cleans up well with soap and water. I use dish soap and a rag and good as new!!!What really makes this desk awesome is the "Creature Comforts." The headphone hanging area is great. I can hang my headphones there and charge them while having them out of the way but easy to get to when I need them. The cupholder is also very convenient. It helps me avoid more spills while having my favorite drink within reach (highly underrated!!!). The basket in the back for extra storage is also a godsend. I can put my laptop power cable brick s well as some of my other cables there and keep them off the floor and out of the way. On thing, the basket attaches to a separate wood piece to the back of the desk. This makes this part of the desk structurally weaker than the main desk, so attaching an arm out to it is not a good idea. I have my arm mount attached to the side of the desk, If you ABSOLUTELY have to have your arm out at the back of the desk, you're not going to want to use the basket attachment. Just my two cents. I also like the provided charger that the desk comes with. Fyi, it is not attached to the desk itself but it is a stand-alone unit. It is USB powered so attach it to a USB adapter that has power and you're good to go. It hS 4 USB slots at its base, so you can charge 4 items at the same time. I currently use it by my tv to charge my PS4 and Switch Pro Controllers, and my PS4 Headset.Overall, this desk is great!!! There is so much to love here and so much value, and it's only 159.99 (at least when I bought it). The only other drawback is that it's not Amazon Prime eligible. You will probably pay around 30 ish for shipping. Despite that with all the value you get and the fact that you will pay more for desks with less value and utility that are Prime Eligible (believe me I looked) you might as well get this one. Well, what are you waiting for??!!! Go buy this desk now. Go On!!! GIT!!!!
