Good value. A little thin but sharp and cuts well

Had to cut up an apple tree that had collapsed, and I found this blade really sharp and easily cuts green wood without much effort. Blade needs to be stretched very tight in the bow saw to avoid flexing.Not recommended for dead wood but great for green wood.

Bought the blade for my bow saw as I had chopped down a couple of trees in the back garden and wanted to saw them up for firewood. After using the original blade I bought one from the market for £1 and it was just useless from the start. I got the Spear and Jackson one and straight away I knew that this was just a totally different blade. I have sawn up both trees now and the blade had been like a knife through butter. I could literally just go through the motion of sawing and the blade would just do the work. Since then I have purchased another couple of the blades just for backup and the price was only £5. I would thoroughly recommned this product for any one wanting to do similiar work. Be warned though the blade does arrive in a large book full of paper packaging.

The many teeth saw well compared to a cheap four pack whose teeth don't saw well

The blade arrived on time and was fitted to was fitted to my saw straightaway. So far it's done a good job helping me prepare wood for the winter months ahead.

Cuts very cleanly, no binding like cheaper blades.
