I've been using crystal deodorants for a while because I prefer products with more minimal ingredients, and this is by far the best one I've tried. It works really well for me. I apply it after showering, and I don't notice any odor throughout the day. In my experience, it works for about 24 hours, so I just apply it daily as part of my routine. I've used another crystal deodorant in the past that lasted a little longer, but I bought that one overseas and haven't been able to find it again. This one has been an excellent replacement. What really sets this one apart is the design. Other crystal deodorants I've owned would slide out of the holder if I accidentally held them upside down, and I've broken several that way. This one is much sturdier. The stone fits securely, has a smooth dome shape that glides easily, and the twist-up base lets you raise the stone as it gets smaller, just like a regular deodorant. It arrived in perfect condition with a nice silk pouch, a thoughtful card from the company, and both a full-size and travel-size deodorant. I've been using it for about a week now with no irritation or residue, and I'd definitely buy this brand again. If you're looking for a high-quality crystal deodorant, I highly recommend it.

Okay so I really love this deodorant and love that it comes with a mini for travel. The sticks themselves last a very long time, and I am not a fragrance person whatsoever so this is perfect how it just neutralizes smells. I will say, you have to use it exactly as directed for it to be most effective (after shower on clean skin) and if you are doing a lot of active movement or are a sweaty person, it will wear off by the end of the day. When I am having a typical day with moderate movement, this works perfectly and I don't notice any smell. However, I do notice it is much less effective for things like stress sweat or when I take certain medications that have sweating as a side effect (e.g., any kind of stimulants). I still think it is worth it but maybe do more research if the last two things apply to you! It is a great product but not a miracle worker.

This stuff actually works. I was obviously skeptical but after reading Reddit posts and these reviews on Amazon, I decided to try it out. I have always hated the sticky coating feeling antiperspirant deodorant had given me and this leaves 0% stickiness. I wanted to get away from aluminum based deodorants and this was the only thing that consistently worked at keeping my body odor away. How I use it: In the shower, use dial gold antibacterial and let sit on armpits for about 3 minutes. After the shower and before drying off, rub the stick on each armpit for about 20 seconds each. I sweat like a crazy person during my sleep and usually wake up smelling atrocious but not with this deodorant! I don’t smell like anything, ever. I even used it doing yard work in 100 degree heat and this kept me from smelling! I highly recommend.

I gave these a try after reading about them on a travel website. I am used to the traditional blue Old Spice stick. At first I liked them, they are natural and I didn't notice my armpits smelling much at the end of the day. However, that was mostly when I was just going about my regular day and not doing any strenuous activities. However, after travelling with them, I noticed that I had some BO after going on long hikes on very hot days. I was doing many hikes and lots of outdoor activities in the hot sun daily and finally caved and bought regular deodorant (I didn't want to be that guy with bad BO). I still use it when I know I'm just going to have a regular day and not sweating a lot. And I think I'll be using it for a long time still, since they last a LONG time. It's been over a year now and using them almost daily still has barely put a dent in them. The plastic around the bigger stick has broken though, it seems like fairly brittle plastic. PROS -Natural -Lasts a long time (the rock itself lasts a long time, not sure about the protection. Don't need to buy more for a long time) -Good for one bag travel (no liquids, small) CONS -Takes an extra minute to apply compared to regular deodorant -Not as strong as regular deodorant -Brittle plastic case

I bought this many months ago and have been using it for a while. It worked wonders. Left me with not even a slight smell. I was left completely orderless, and if I forgot to apply the next day I would still be covered. I stopped using for a while and switched back to regular deodorant, but i would smell nasty even after applying it. I am never and I mean NEVER going back to regular deodorant again! I started to use this natural deodorant once again recently, and again, I am left smelling like I have never smelled bad before! It's crazy because not even regular deodorant does that for me. So I will continue to repurchase this product again and again. This will be my second time repurchasing, and although it's a bit on the pricey side it lasts you twice as long as regular deodorant! Even when using day and night after showers as I do. I've had mine for months and months! And they not only give you a regular size but a mini one as well?! Like even when you run out you have a second mini backup! It's totally worth it. My under arms are not irritated in the slightest, even after shaving. It's great. This product is amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to use a completely natural deodorant THAT WORKS. Try it out, you may be surprised despite all the negativity around natural deodorant! Instead of smelling like cleaner mixed with under arm sweat, you'll smell like nothing.

I’ve always been curious about crystal deodorant but have always been SO skeptical that it’s just some crunchy/granolay thing, especially as I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell and particular about hygiene. I usually use clinical strength deodorant (and have tried almost every deodorant out there, including “natural” ones), and by the end of the day, I didn’t smell too great— oftentimes a weird combo of BO and deodorant. It was also always hard to clean off the deodorant residue on my armpits— so much scrubbing and exfoliating but always still felt it after getting out of the shower. I ended up with a chemical burn from deodorant recently, and decided to give this a shot. And oh my god… it works??? Better than ANY deodorant I’ve ever tried!! Even after working out vigorously in the heat, many miles of running, long days of work and lots and lots of sweating in the heat, I have not smelled ANY BO (even 48 hours after putting it on— and again, I have very sensitive sense of smell). I’m blown away. And no gross residue on my armpits or clothing. No itchiness or burning. Some tips that have helped: 1. Only put on immediately after showering. Hop out of the shower, don’t dry your armpits, and apply immediately (I apply for like 20 seconds to each armpit). 2. Wipe the crystal between each armpit with a cloth with water and after use 3. Let armpits air dry 4. If you are a little smelly, put on some baking soda/water paste on your armpits before getting into the shower. Clean off in shower. (This also helped my first day of trying to get the residue off) 5. If you need to reapply (I haven’t had to) I’ve heard it’s helpful to wipe your armpit with some alcohol wipes beforehand to get rid of BO. ALSO, this will not work if you’re already smelly. You have to be super clean already before applying it. I’m not sure if this would work with hairy armpits as well.

While I love the idea of a deodorant without chemicals, I offer a warning for anyone with sensitive skin. I used this product exactly as directed after a shower. There was some itching in the area of my armpit the next day. I assumed it was likely bug bites, which I get a lot of when working in the garden. That night, I awoke at 2 a.m., realizing that, in my sleep, I was scratching my crazily itching torso. I got up, looked in a mirror, and discovered a pervasive red rash in my armpits, and on my arms and torso, front and back. I took a hot shower, thinking I had gotten into some plant. Heat from hot water or a hair dryer usually quells itching for a couple of hours. I did not apply either deodorant or skin lotion, concerned about reaction. The rash persisted and spread through the day. That night, I awoke to itching again at 2 a.m. Another middle of the night hot shower to relieve itching, hoping to get rid of the cause. The next morning, a little research yielded that, according to Chinese medicine, and now beginning to be accepted in the Western community, our bodies cleanse different organs at different times of the day. It is the liver that cleanses toxins at around 2 a.m., including the blood vessels. This made me realize that the rash I was experiencing was beneath the skin, and there were no lesions on the skin surface. It was clearly systemic, not topical. I started thinking about what had changed in my daily routines. I live with a chronic leukemia and weakened immune system, for which I have been taking amazing new targeted immunotherapy drugs for 8 years. They keep me alive and functioning, and I live in gratitude to those who research and develop these drugs. I live as healthy a life style as I can, eating an organic plant based diet that is also gluten and dairy free, with minimal sugar. I had eaten no new foods. I have been isolated on my property since the start of Covid (now 27 months), grateful for my art and gardening that feed my soul. My skin has always been my weakest organ. Since childhood, I have reacted to various foods, plants, cats and chemicals with hives and rashes. This history helped me investigate rather than freak out. Now that I was paying attention to my persistent current rash, which was even more wide spread on day 3 (see photos of my underarm and back), I realized that the only change in the last few days was the mineral salt deodorant I had used two days earlier. I started researching in earnest about this deodorant. Way, way down on the page was a section on Side Effects. Sure enough, here is one warning from the Healthline site: "Crystal deodorant may cause rashes, itchiness, or irritation, especially if your skin is broken or you’ve recently shaved or waxed. It can also cause an allergic reaction such as inflammation, dryness, or redness. Avoid use when your skin is sensitive and discontinue use if the crystal deodorant continually irritates your skin." This warning is echoed on other sites as well. I am in my 80s. I neither shave nor wax. I didn't need advice about discontinuing use. Needless to say, I am grateful for Amazon's return policy, and am returning the two containers of this deodorant. Because of my immune system, I am typically hyper-vigilant about researching possible contraindications before trying new products. For some reason, I hadn't seen the sensitive skin warning. On this day 4 of this itchy journey, the rashes are retreating somewhat. I continue to use hot showers for relief, and to avoid anti-histamines. I'd rather itch than feel drowsy, and I'm not a scratcher when conscious. If there is anyone out there with a history of skin sensitivity, do think twice before trying mineral salt deodorant. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Oh my goodness. I have tried every natural deodorant out there, all of which either wore away after a few minutes, totally ruined my clothes, or both! I was super hesitant to get this one, because I've probably spent hundreds of dollars on deodorants just to use half of them, not working, and then having to throw them away. I was at the point where I would not buy any more deodorants unless I knew that I could get a free trial before doing it. I could seriously not believe the difference that nakd made. Firstly, the packaging was amazing, and the fact that it comes with a regular and a travel sized is super awesome, since I always carry a deodorant in my purse. The moment I put this on, I knew there was something different about it. I followed the instructions, and went about my day. I know my body, so I know when I'll start smelling if I wear a crappy deodorant, but to my surprise, this continued to remain strong. I went 24 hours without changing it and WOW! I have found my deodorant! Whenever I would talk to the support email of other deodorants that didn't work, they'd always assure me that there was a transition period in between deodorants which was why I was still smelling, but for this one, I can already tell it's working!!! SOOO happy, thank you so much nakd for letting me smell good AND be natural!! UPDATE: I noticed that if I reapply this under arms that were stinky, it actually would absorb the stink smell, which was super annoying. I had to start using other parts of the crystal because I'd open it and it would smell like my armpit. I purchased the spray. I'm hoping that will be better, but I'm disappointed that this seemed to absorb the smell of my armpits and i had to reapply many times

It's worth buying for ,the price is worth it too ,if you want to buy a deodorant that won't make your armpits dark this is the one.
