Every book Maxwell writes is excellent. This one gives good insight into some familiar Bible characters and helps you apply your life to the challenges they faced. I am using in a study with someone I am mentoring as there are many life lessons in it. The questions at the end of each chapter are most helpful too.

Good book with interesting insight on people out of the Old Testament and leadership skills to be learned from them.

Encouraging Bible stories, for everyone, not just those who wish to lead. It teaches the value of having a supportive role in life.

I loved this book. It made the Bible come alive for me in a new way.The premise is: what would Biblical figures say to you if they could talk to you today?I have avoided the Old Testament for a long time because it was so hard to understand and apply to my life. This book changed that for me!

nothing exciting which spell bounds you to the book.Having read innumerable management books found nothing new in this book which can v be shared. Old wine in a new bottle.

This easy to read book encourages us to run with the giants in our own lives...through sharing what the heroes in the Old Testament would tell us if we were running, together with the author, in the Great Arena with them and listening to the ovation of the crowds in the stands of Heaven...!!!
