will this work with push along thomas trains?

Not an easy question to answer since Fisher Price took over...FP has produced some they called Push Along that came out as soon as they took over. Those, and all the old Take Along Thomas would not likely work. They require a narrower track. FP altered the diecast series at some point and widened the wheel base and added the term Trackmaster to the packaging (at least for a time) and those will work on this track, though they are much smaller than the engine that comes with this set. This series is primarily designed for the larger, plastic series that has been called Trackmaster through various manufacturers. If you have the newest diecast or the larger plastic ones, they should work on this track. Hope that helps.
