Hi,This Ferrule crimper is extremely useful when using smaller non-sleeved Ferrules. As a professional electrician I tend to crimp multi stranded flex cables to keep a robust connection throughout its service life. Allows for a clean finish and when installing more complex jobs where one may have to undo and redo cable connections this allows for a positive feedback and secure connection helping to avoid possible arching.I previously bought the flexible head knipex and the fixed front entrance square crimpers from knipex. But after a short while found no real need to have sleeved ferrules for my general domestic connection needs. So I bought the sleeveless versions which are much better suited and significantly cheaper and easier to store. Having trouble with this I then went for the wiha. This is the one I use all the time and the other knipex are just collecting dust. I prefer the more rounded connection - as it is especially useful when connecting smaller girthed connectors.

Brilliant tool
Crimping ferrals from 0.05 up to 16mm. Excellent well made tool . No dislikes brilliant tool for making better electrical connections . Expensive in the shops to buy but Amazon best price I have ever seen .
