I bought three of these to replace some worn out BPS reels, didn’t have the 5.1:1 speed I was looking for but had a 5.4:1 which is close enough for a decent crank bait reel and I also got two of the 7.2:1 or 7.4:1 not really sure without looking. Casts well when setup is right for lure weight, drag is very good on these reels, KastKing just flat out made a really great budget friendly reel. I plan to buy more as my other reels wear out.

I bought this as a gift for my son wanted to try a bait caster. He like the reel a lot. He says that it’s gonna take a little time to get used to a bait caster but all in all he’s really happy.

Good reel not great but very affordable

This reel is awesome. I can cast flukes weightless over 30 yards but no backlash. I have another for my crank baits and can have half oz cranks so far I get tired dealing it in. I have the SLX DC and the Curado K and this one on par for performance although the build quality is better in the others. As expected for something costing 6-8 times more. Cannot go wrong with this reel

Very smooth bait caster reel took no time at all to get it set to my liking. This reel impressed me and works beyond of what I expected. I am a very happy customer and would buy again and I also recommend this reel it’s a nice bait caster. It looks great and it functions even better. No noise at all with this reel and it’s very smooth every time .

This is my first baitcaster. It's been great for learning. Great thing is that there's also a shallow spool you can buy separately.

This was an upgrade for a previous bait caster and he loved it! Works well, casts smoothly and was able to handle a very large large mouth bass
