Purchased this thing because I’m officially old and I have a bad lower back. At first I was skeptical because of the seemingly flimsy build quality, but so far this thing is surprisingly intuitive and useful. The big question is how long it will last, which only time will tell. It has rubber tips on the “claw” grabber portion which provide ample friction for picking up various stuff. The squeeze handle operation works surprisingly well and doesn’t require much effort. It’s also very lightweight and the claws are wide enough for picking up most reasonably sized household items. Like many other reviewers I see myself buying another one of these when this one inevitably breaks. It also works well for picking up trash around the yard.

Does the job on most items that one would routinely need to pick up, if dropped. Great functionality, size, sturdiness, and portability. That said, it is not meant for heavy items, though I have used it to bring heavier items forward or up high enough to grab the item. This grabber can pick up a credit card off the floor, ear buds, cell phone or even a small nut or pill dropped on the floor. If you have pets, and drop something they should not eat, this is what you need readily available to get it off the floor before they scarf the forbidden item off the floor! Post-surgery or adaptability tool worthy of its purchase - have used it to help move sheets & blankets while in bed, hold a pant leg while dressing, grab clothes off the floor, and do some basic household chores such as wipe up a small spill on the floor or grab my laundry from the washer and dryer. You can grab and twist to lift heavier wet towels to help reach.

I don’t usually write many reviews but this product has been a lifesaver. I recently had surgery that was going to require about 2 months of recovery before I could bend down. As I live alone I thought this might be helpful. Out of all the expensive things I purchased to help with my recovery, this little item was more important, and more used, than anything else, usually on a daily basis. One day I dropped my phone and got panicky because that was my lifeline and this helped me pick it up. I would even suggest getting 2 of them in case you drop one, as it’s that important. The only thing I would add is that if something is very heavy, cumbersome or tiny, it may be more difficult or not possible to pick up those items using this. It’s just an amazing product that I feel so fortunate to have, and have a backup as well.

I've bought several of these over the years and find them quite handy. I marked this one down a star because the tips of the grabber are offset about 1/4 inch when squeezing the grip and that makes picking up small objects problematic. They'll work ok for my workshop as anything I drop is usually bigger than 1/4 inch and I dislike the hassle of returning products that aren't 100% but still usable. Just a hiccup in the quality control process I hope.

I’m too short to reach laundry at the bottom of the drum. This makes it super easy to grab. Very easy to use and super helpful.

I will only need this for about two weeks while I heal from surgeries, but it is coming in very handy. While it will not pick up a pound of bacon, pens, pencils, shoes (one at a time), clothing, etc. are all being picked up with this little gadget. And if folds almost perfectly in half to save space so it is portable.

As advertised. Easy to use. Adjustable. Strong. Quick processing and shipping.

They work great but I've had to replace mine three times now since June. They break easily. If you drop it it's broken and there isn't a visible way to fix them yourself so you're forced to buy another one 😭

Having had a hip replacement I had purchased a similar product in 2024 which was useless. A week ago had my 2nd hip replacement and needed to purchase something that actually worked. This power grip is a game changer!!! This assists with picking up dropped items, helping one dress. It is slightly tricky to pick a phone off the floor, however "angling" the phone and obtaining a grip - it's possible too! The product has a solid feel to it unlike other similar products. East to use. Extremely happy with this power grip and all the functions. High recommend for post operative care and the elderly. Buying another for my Mother.
