These were positively perfect. The size is great. The fact that their dishwasher safe it's great. Well worth the money they're beautiful. The coffee cup is perfect. The bowls adjust the right size. The weight of them, the versatility It's perfect I wouldn't have it any other way well worth the money spent.

After finishing a large-scale kitchen renovation I was running into a problem. I had two sets of upscale dishes from Crate and Barrel that we were using as everyday dishes and no everyday set. We had broken two of the expensive mugs and a dish already and I was losing my mind!!! I desperately needed a set of everyday casually priced but formally styled dishes for kicking around the kitchen and not losing sleep every time something was dropped or dinged. I turned to Amazon found this set and I ordered four sets immediately. I liked that the gray rings around the rims were subtle and would match the wall color in our kitchen. I also read previous reviews saying that these dishes were lightweight and this was perfect because I needed them to store in an upper cabinet and not strain my arms when moving multiples (I am always thinking about aging in place and accommodating grandmothers when I purchase something) and I thought that these would stack well in a relatively small space available for dishes and bowls. These arrived in two boxes with two sets in each box. They were packed extremely efficiently and nothing was broken. Some of the coloring and shapes were slightly irregular however considering the price point and the functionality I wanted with these I was not even remotely concerned about that. These are solid little dishes that I look forward to using in order to teach kids about formal dining without having to worry about them winging a plate across the dining room. They fit soup really nicely (I was testing chicken noodle in them last night) and they come out of the dishwasher in one piece and looking shiny and nice. See photos with apple slices for a better sense of scale. Great value for the price. Love it. Thanks, Amazon!

I’ll just get the bad thing out of the way first, because it’s not all that terrible. One of the mugs I have is chipped, but not severely enough for me to complain about it or get my money back. It’s just a little on the bottom, and most people wouldn’t even notice unless you have OCD like myself. 🙄 Hence the 4 stars. However! On to the good stuff! 1. The packaging was very intense, but in a really good way. I was worried about ordering dishes online for the fear of breaking, but these were very well packed and I even had a hard time getting them out of the box, so well done. 2. I didn’t expect anything extravagant (I’m a young, single adult and am moving into my first apartment, so I’m pretty low maintenance) from these, but the quality is surprising. They’re heavy, durable, and I’m excited to use them. 3. The mug sizes are perfect. They’re not as big as you’d buy at Walmart, like a single mug, but I like that a lot better because I kinda hate the fact that most mugs are unnecessarily larger than what’s needed. Other than the little chip I found, I’d say these are worth the gamble and the buy. But if you’re looking for something fancy and lovely for a nice party, I’d try going to a store. Great product at a great price

I bought these in January of 2025 to replace a very heavy set of dishes which have begun to chip and crack. So far I have been very please with this purchase. No chips or cracks yet and are not very heavy. They are microwaveable and ar dishwasher safe. They look prettier in person.

They look nice and quality but I suggest these are just to stage a dinner table,.they break and paint comes off maybe 1 good year of use and toss too much chipping edges and paint peels away and seem thin ceramic

A very nice, impressive dinner set. Good enough for company. What a pleasure it is to eat off these plates instead of the plastic, wheat-ware ones! Word of advice: The coffee cups are just shy of 10 oz. so use the 8 oz. on your Keurig. If you use the 10-oz setting it goes right to the rim.

I had a set of blue stoneware dishes that were round, and very heavy duty, but I only had five since I bought them at a garage sale. I also had a partial set of green, square, japanese-style plates. After three years of use and wear, they were tired, and I was tired of not having a full set. I didn't have the money to purchase the Rachel-Ray sets that I loved, especially since I needed two sets (8 settings total). Then I stumbled along the AmazonBasics sets. Not only were there a variety of colors for me to choose from, but they were the right price! Two sets of these (8 place settings in total) is the same price as one of the Rachel Ray everyday set. I read the reviews and decided these were the right ones for my growing family. ...And I figured, "hey, if they don't work out, at least Amazon Prime returns are very simple." I will ***NOT*** be returning these dishes. I expected a thin version of dinnerware, but NO-- These are sturdy. The color representation from the online picture to the actual product is very accurate. The bowls, though smaller than the ones I had before, will be wonderful for controlling soup and cereal portions. I love the size of the salad plate. At just one average woman's hand width across, they just *feel right* in my palm. The mugs are a decent size. If you enjoy a hefty cup of coffee in the morning, these won't be for you. Odds are, though, you have a favorite mug anyway. For entertaining or the occasional tea/hot chocolate drinker, though, these are the perfect size. The handles are the kind that are easy to rest your thumb on top of, too, so that's another plus! This mama is so happy about her new dishes. I give these five stars because I'm RIDICULOUSLY excited to dirty them up with my food.

Me ha gustado mucho la vajilla y la calidad. La recomendaría. Es para cuatro personas pero incluye cuatro tazas de un tamaño majo, ni grandes ni pequeñas, el tamaño perfecto. Los platos hondos son estilo tazón y son muy prácticos porque sirven tanto para comer un primer plato como para poner cosas para picoteo. En general estoy contenta ya que la relación calidad precio es buena. Viene muy bien embalada. Y en cuanto a una reseña que he visto en inglés de una persona que se ha quejado porque no tiene la raya de una de las tazas bien pintada en las mías está todo perfecto perfectísimo diría yo. Ninguna queja. Todo lo contrario, mis felicitaciones al fabricante.

I am amazed! This dinner set is worth every penny! We recently moved to a new city, ceramic dinner set was just so expensive at every store I went to. Even the Market 99 had a ceramic bowl for Rs 275. This is a must buy! All the essential for under 1000/- Very posh, elegant and so much better than plastic plates. Contents - 4 big plate, 4 small plates, 4 mugs, 4 cereal bowls. This is an unboxing review. I might update if it breaks sooner or doesn't last in the microwave. If it does, you won't see any further comments!

I was looking for a replacement dinnerware set as my farmhouse set was bought a good decade ago and was looking rather tatty, so it was time for it to go. After looking at many sets on here, from the pricier to the cheaper I was swayed by both the cafe-stripe design of this set, plus the many favourable reviews. The price I wasn’t too bothered about, but when I noticed the price I was rather delighted. I ordered happily having already experienced the quality of the Amazon Basics brand and awaited my orders arrival. My dinnerware set arrived extremely well packaged and there was not one casualty. Once all unpacked and inspected I washed out one of the cups and made a cup of tea. I know it may sound a bit daft but I find tea either tastes great in a cup or it doesn’t. To me, a lot seems dependant on the cup! I have special cups I use for tea and others for coffee. I like these cups. The pristine whiteness of the inner allows me to brew to the required colour and they are extremely comfortable to hold and not too heavy, nor too light. The plates are perfect for everyday dinners and the dip allows for the use of gravy when required. My first use of these plates was with a roast dinner, with Yorkshire puddings and masses of roasties, mash and gravy. I managed to get my rather large portions on these plates no problem. They wash easily and stack well in the drainer too. I haven’t used the side plates as yet but they are stacked happily in my cupboard ready for their first use. The cereal bowls were tested out with a chocolate Cheerios experience with lashings of ice cold milk. Nice bowls! Hold a lot and nice high sides so you can pile plenty in. I like the red/white cafe stripe design and overall this set is remarkable value for money and is ideal for established families, people moving into a new home and newlyweds etc. I really like the Amazon Basics brand.
