I have to tell you being a screen printer for nearly 28 years. This exposure unit is a game changer. I've used in the beginning a large fluorescent bulb (500) watts and graviated to using halogen lights with 500 watts bulbs. After all this time, I decided to bite the bullet and go this route. My first exposure methods work fairly decent in the beginning, after a huge learning curve it got the job done. I didn't need very detailed designs but clean enough to sell and create shirts. I've always been frugal running a business and paid for supplies or built them to save money. After deciding it was time to up my game I bought this. What a difference! With screen printing there has always been a huge learning curve, nowadays they have DTG printers and transfers and so on. If your a "true" screen printer and using old methods of exposing screens, GET THIS. You will save time, money and aggravation from exposing screens and figuring out the correct times for accurate exposure. Get rid of the outdated methods. This unit has everything you need, the vacuum, LED lights which are much faster than UV bulbs and a built in timer. Depending on what type of Emulsion you use, will determine exposure time. I have always been a fan of Chromatech PL by Chromoline. It would take me 2 minutes and 50 seconds to get a good exposure the old way. With this machine it takes 7 to 9 seconds for a beautiful screen with high detail. This is well worth it and less than half the cost of exposure units at screen printing warehouses and shops. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Way nicer than I expected for the price *by on Reviewed in the United States March 28, 2021* So I haven't put this thing through it's paces yet, but so far I'm pretty blown away at the quality of the machine. Most vacuum units from known brands in the industry start above $2k so I was expecting some pretty jank build quality. I'm pretty surprised how nice this seems. It was very well packaged, and in perfect condition. I sorta figured it would be put together cheaply with rivets and glue but it looks like they almost exclusively used stainless alen head bolts, and it should be very easy to repair or disassemble if necessary. The vacuum is slow but works perfectly, about 60 seconds seemed right for my 20x24 aluminum screen. The glass has zero visible imperfections, and seems plenty strong. The rubber seems high quality, and again wouldn't be a problem to replace if damaged. The timer system works as expected, set the vaccum time, and exposure time, hit start, and the vaccum will go until it finishes the countdown, then the lights turn on and the vaccum continues through the exposure cycle to ensure a proper seal is held. I'm so used to being disappointed in most machines these days. Even when you spend too much on the name brand stuff, it's always obvious they cut corners. This unit doesn't have the nicest finish, it has some sharp edges, I'm sure the vacuum pump isn't the best, but for how much this cost, I'm extremely pleased. Nice work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great! Buy it and don’t look back! *by on Reviewed in the United States March 1, 2021* Let me say, like many other screen printers I always disliked burning screens. This unit has changed all that! First try it works awesome! I use blue AP emulsion from screenprintdirect.com. It burned great at 38 seconds. Also the vacuum setting I use is 70 seconds and my 20 by 24 screens are good to go. Looks great and works great: don’t hesitate to buy. I waited because it wasn’t Royonet or any major brand. But this is far cheaper and I couldn’t imagine needing anything else. The only reason I wouldn’t get this is if my screens were larger. Anything over 20 by 24 won’t fit good.
