Warriors: The New Prophecy #3: Dawn

This is a wanderful book, reflecting rather human nature than cats. It is based on growing trust, unity and helping each other when facing the danger.Everyone feel free to comment when things are not going as they expected, and happy when everything is as smoothy or even better as they hoped for.Cats that feel like human: they get angry, frustrated, hateful, tender, worrry, happy etc.The entire book is a journey to cats destination and through their emotions.

In the third book of the Warriors: The New Prophecy series, the five remaining Clan cats return from their journey to the “sun-drown place” to find the prophecy that Midnight the Badger gave them is already in full swing. The twolegs are rapidly destroying the forest and everything around it in the process of building their new Thunder Path. All the prey has fled, and kits and elders are dying.Some of the Clans are receptive to Midnight’s message that they need to move. But others are surprisingly stubborn. RiverClan seems to think they will be alright because they still have the fish of the river. And ShadowClan is just stubborn, like always. But the destruction is proceeding rapidly. Soon it becomes easy to convince the Clan leaders that leaving is their best policy.Meanwhile, many of the Clan cats, including Leafpaw, Mistyfoot, Brightheart, and Cloudtail have been captured by the work-people and imprisoned in cages in a little shack near the worksite. When the other cats find out, they must be rescued. A Kittypet named Cody has been helping Leafpaw try to figure out a way to escape, and when the ThunderClan cats show up to free them, she goes with the Clan cats for a little while, helping with the kits and whatever else she can do. Though the trapped cats are rescued, this doesn’t happen without a cost, as Graystripe is left behind. He is last seen being carried off in a two-legs vehicle.Midnight indicated that the cats should stand on the Great Rock and look for the sign of the dying warrior to discover which way to go. They go to Four Trees, even though the trees have been cut down, to stand on the rock there. Only, even the rock has been overturned and damaged. The leaders of the other Clans will not wait for the sign, which never comes anyway.Eventually, all the Clans decide to leave, mostly under duress. WindClan and ThunderClan have already suffered horribly and have been forced to leave their camps. When something diverts the river so there are no longer any fish, and the twoleg monsters attack the ShadowClan camp, everybody is suddenly ready to go.Several cats die along the way. The sign they are looking for finally appears, not at Four Trees but at High Stones, the most sacred of the Clan cats’ gathering places. They head back through the mountains where the five cats sent by StarClan previously met the Tribe of Rushing Waters. They nearly freeze in the mountain cold but are rescued by meeting the Tribe again. Although it is a lot of cats to take in, the Tribe allows them to stay for a few days. And despite continuing dangers and uncertainties, the Clan cats have begun to find more prey now that they are far from the interference of twolegs and their roads.The Tribe determines that a nearby lake will be a likely place for the Clans to settle. It is a beautiful place, with abundant prey. Even fish for the RiverClan cats. But even as they begin to find the habitats best suited for each Clan and settle in, the fragile alliances forged between the groups during the arduous journey begin to fragment again, and it looks as if the old rivalries might well flare up again in the future.As this is only the third of six of the books in this sub-series, it appears that plenty more adventures await the Clan cats as they adjust to their new homes.

I bought this series for my niece who is nine years old and she is absolutely devouring it and so looking forward to continuing with the series and it’s spin offs.

Just,the the book was just sooooooooooo good like the the characters were so amay zing like so so so so so good

The book and especially the ending were nice, although I wish the perspective was focused more on Squirrelpaw instead of Leafpaw. It was still a good and smooth way to move the arch along.

Hello, this is my favorite book of the new prophecy books. I mostly love the Leafpaw parts while she is captured by the twolegs. Im happy they finally made a book for squirelpaw, im kind of sad that they have to leave the forrest but im also happy to beacause they find a whole new place to call home. (spoiler) its to bad that Graystripe gets captured by twolegs and that stormfur stays with brook in the tribe of rushing water. I hope you find this review helpful.-Leafstorm of thunderclan

The growth of all of the characters and the destruction of the forest was deeply emotional but the book title is fitting. A new dawn for all forest cats. This new beginning is a masterpeice.

My 10 year old daughter absolutely loves this series!! She finishes one book in a week and asks me for the next. She can't stop reading them!! All of her friends are reading them too so it seems like it's a popular series for her age group

this book might have been the best book in this arc that is... in my opinion, but this book is pawsome because Leafpaw's chapters are finally interesting and i really love cody's charter.The one mistake is that firestar chooses his clan over his daughter who has been missing for days! (Leafpaw) oh come on firestar! think like Greystripe like how he did in Forest of secrets.

In the new prophecy lake territories you'll get sucked deep into the pain,love,betrayal and anger of Squirrelflight,Brambleclaw and Ashfur.And through all this Brambleclaw may get into something more than he bargained for
