I tried clicking this star about 10 times before i realized i couldn't fill in just a dot in the corner to show my hate for this product. I bought this thinking it would be nice to have when its winter time to water my livestock, then i could carry it inside and sit it in the bathtub to drain instead of my normal hoses freezing or having to carry water in 5 gallon buckets. I set the product in the box on top my fridge and waited till it got cold. (i hate putting stuff in the box's again.) When I opened it and needed it i notice the Outer cloth like material was already separated from the inner thin piece of stretchy fish tank air hose zize inner tubeing they use. Since i was only hoping it would last thru the winter i didn't mind to much, at least not until i was about to step out of the Pig pen and turned the hose off with the small plastic shutoff provided in the box. As soon as did I guess the Inner hose must have started to bubble up or something from the increase in pressure , and before i even know what happened It Exploded with a loud Bang ,and me being a veteran with PTSD i do what comes Naturally something goes pop right next to me and I am automatically Doing a "They See me im down" number. So After my Anxiety Attack I manage to be able to think some, and realize Its winter time, I am being Sprayed by a whats left of a water hose, Laying In a Pig Pen, covered in pig poop, Starting to Freeze all over from being wet and cold. I literally laid flat down in the pig poop i was so startled. (It was a good 12Inches deep of poop/mud and of course thats the only corner they poop in) The Last i saw the Water Hose it was landing in the pig pen as i threw it, Its either been Destroyed now, Buried in pig poop or It may have become pig poop. Regardless i am sure it probably only took the Pig 1-3 minutes to make it disappear, as it was that cheaply made. Im also sure No part of it Could do any Physical damage to him, Just Lots of mental Pains. It makes me almost afraid to take a shower because i used DAP epoxy to seal around my bathtub and im afraid if it gets wet it may make a water balloon explode and cause me to Fall out and probably land on my bad back on the tub.Actually come to think of it i may just move. I am kind of a hillbilly and i used DAP Sealant all around my house, cabinets, door frames, windows etc. That was just a joke Have to give credit to there DAP Sealant though, its really worked well and hasent dried out and flaked off yet.The Only enjoyment ill get from the water hose is when i butcher the big and im eating some sausage and bacon in the morning, and Start to think back to what happened and how i turned "Turn on to Expand" junk water hose into Bacon.

works as expected...untill
The hose was lightweight and expanded to full length with water pressure. The elastic nature of the hose kept a little water pressure after water was turned off so be careful not to remove nozzle without releasing water first or you will get soaked. The hose dispelled all the water automatically fastest when both ends are open. I was surprised to see all the bad reviews, the only cons I've seen were the fabric exterior just didn't seem like it should be dragged through mud. A regular hose would rinse more easily. I've even left it pressurized for several days and noticed no leaks. I'm writing this review as I'm about to purchase another 50'. I've used it several times but never abused it fully with tugging, vehicles etc. This hose wouldn't work well with a reel i imagine, the reel would restrict expansion and contraction limiting water flow. I'm surprised there was no mention of that in the description/ instructions. I don't like having to disconnect the hose every time im finished with it, even though it shrinks considerably, lying on the floor by the spigot just dosen't appeal to meEdit to my review: neighborhood kids had a water fight in my driveway and popped the hose by trying to kink it to cut off the water supply

DAP XHOSE 50 FOOT EXPANDING GARDEN HOSE
Don't waste your money. It does not expand all the way all of the time. You have to wait until it is totally full of water/pressure. Once you use a lot of water it shrinks a little, then expands again when more water pressure builds up, etc. When you are done watering, you turn off your water, then the hose will not shrink up until you use all the water up inside the hose! So you turn off your water and you must figure out what to water in order to empty the hose so it will shrink back up. The instructions say not to leave the hose out in the hot sun. What the...? All garden hoses are made to be out in the elements. The only good thing about the hose is that it is light weight. The best hose I ever had was the MAGNA flexible hose, which they don't make any more. I still have two old MAGNA hoses that are 4 years old and work fine. They are light weight, the water pressure is fine no matter how much hose you unroll (I have to 25 footers), you can step on them, they don't kink ever. Does anyone have a MAGNA hoser to sell me?

Check the Water Presure in Your System!
Here is a significant new bit of information on the X-hose: I, too, tried several expandable hoses, and they all exploded. But then about a year ago I had a plumber out to install some new bathroom fixtures. While he was there he did a routine test of the water pressure in my pipes. He found the water pressure in my house to be 3x the recommended maximum! He told me "You have to get this pressure corrected or all your plumbing fixtures are at risk of leakage or outright bursting." So he installed a brand new water pressure regulator that day; and much to my delight a new X-hose I bought shortly thereafter has functioned perfectly ever since! I didn't even know that private homes had water pressure regulators. I now believe that all my various hoses exploded entirely because of my faulty water pressure, and it is possible that excess water pressure is the cause of many other reported hose failures! Something to think about. Have your water pressure checked -- it takes about two minutes.

Thought I was getting the Xhose Pro
Was hoping that the top item on my search for the Xhose Pro was actually the pro with the brass fittings.... that error is on my end. One of the hoses just popped. Amusing and spectacular actually, a two foot long blue sausage coming out of the side of the hose (the green, patent infringing, non-Dap hoses have clear guts by the way), then POP!The other hose is still running, and two 50 ft pro hoses directly from Dap have been ordered. These things are the bee's knees! Just wish they were a skoshi bit better made.Still gonna use em, better than lugging around 30 lbs of contractor grade hose for just watering the garden.

Buena calidad
Buen producto, pero solo sirve si tienes una muy buena presión de agua, yo cuento con hidroneumático y solo así se extiente.
