Great pocket-sized dual flame lighter
Purchased this lighter to help save by buying disposable lighters. I am very impressed with the overall build and quality of this lighter. The lighter comes nicely wrapped in a foam sleeve within a metal presentation box. My instructions were under the packaging in the bottom of the metal box. The lighter feels good in the hand, I filled it with butane by holding the lighter upside down and pressing the filling nozzle on the butane can into the filling port on the lighter. The lighter features two slats on one side, I initially thought it was for viewing the amount of butane inside the lighter, but it seems to be some kind of ventilation. This lighter has no viewing window for seeing how much butane is inside. Using the lighter It’s shipped empty, so you will need to add butane. The lighter worked on the first try, though I lowered the soft flame slightly. The jet flame was already at the right height. There are two flame adjustment points marked with plus and minus symbols: the jet flame control is on the outside of the fill port, and the soft flame control is a small flat head screw that can be turned with a fingernail or thin butter knife. The flint seems to take a standard replacement flint. It would have been nice if the manufacture had included some extra flints. Final thoughts Overall, it is an excellent value for the money, and I am very satisfied with this lighter. The dual jet/soft flame is a plus and I like the way the soft flame stays on until you turn the selection knob on the side back to jet flame. It is easy to fill and adjust both flames. The jet flame will not light if it is set too low or high, so you may need to try different flame adjustment settings if you have any issues. The manufacturer has useful information on the product page about adjusting the flames and changing the flint for the soft flame. There is no fuel level window. It looks good and is a perfect size for your pocket and to hold. When not using the lighter, keep the selector on the side to jet flame or the lighter will lose all its fuel.

Junk. A lighter that doesn't light: First one side then the other
I use lighters frequently and never have I had such a dud. Followed all instructions for filling and using this high maintenance lighter because after I purchased and before it arrived I saw that people had difficulty with it working. The standard flame 🔥 worked maybe twice before crapping out no matter how much fluid. The torch side wouldn't even light without being turned up enough but if it was overturned it wouldn't light either it would just hiss. The perfect positioning of flow was impossible to reach. Well at least for the flame to ignite and stay lit more than 10 times. It did ignite and stay lit a few times when the flow position was perfect and I slowly pressed the button but it would shut off after a few seconds. Until finally it stopped working completely. And this is all within about an hour btw. Also, twice I went to pick up the lighter and flick, only to notice that there was no longer any butane in it. It leaked out over a few hours and then again overnight. Oh and the knob to adjust the flow of butane ended up wearing down from how many times adjusted it and tried to adjust it to get the lighter to work. Pathetic This is a lighter that doesn't light or hold any fluid. It has to be the worst product for its product class that I've purchased and probably of all of Amazon. I don't know how a company can bring such a poor functioning product to market. I can only hope that mine is in the minority of lighters sold. And that many more reach customers and end up working just fine.

Almost perfect
Almost perfect. I like the styling, size, reliable ignition and dual functionality. The two things that keep it from being perfect are the lack of a window to monitor fuel level and I had issues filling with the brand of butane that I purchase in bulk. This lighter really looks great and is similar in size to a Classic Zippo. It’s a little thinner and 3/8” taller (see photos). I really like that it has both a soft flame and torch. The soft flame is lit with a standard flint wheel which will likely last many years and is my go to method. The torch is lit with a pizo electric spark which is great but will eventually fail as they all do overtime. Therefore I use it as a backup method for when my flint is used up and I don’t have a spare with me. Also in high wind situations it may work when the soft flame keeps getting blown out. This way the pizo will be there when I need it. When in the soft flame mode it will stay lit until the selector is flicked up. My Zippo butane insert requires the button to be continually depressed so that when/if my thumb slips off it shuts down and I have to relight. To turn this lighter off simply flick the selector up to its normal position. I did have issues filling this lighter as none of the adapters included with my butane cans fit properly. I believe that many butane canisters fit without using any adapters. I ended up using my precision metal lathe to modify one of the adapters attached to the top of my butane canisters. I buy them by the case for my mini torch which I use almost daily so making an adapter was worth the 15 minutes it took to make it. This lighter is very worthy of my 4.5 star rating and I’m happy with its purchase. ... After using it for about 60 days I'm still happy with the purchase and learned a few things. First off some reviewers couldn't figure out how to replace the flint. Just pull up on the wheel and remove the entire sparking mechanism. Make sure that any flints you purchase are no larger than 2.25mm or risk getting one stuck (don't ask how I know). The wheel can be removed by driving the wheel pin in the direction of the red mark because one end is bigger. If you find yourself almost out of fuel and it won't light try opening the soft flame valve and spark it with the torch side. I've been able to get three or four lights using thi

Great Lighter
Love this lighter. I don't give out 5 stars often. When I do there is something special about it. So I will carefully list the big things that make it a 5 star lighter. 1- It lights Everytime. 2- The flame stays the same size consistently until it starts lacking fuel. 3- It is solid and so are the lighting mechanisms. As the soft flames wheel spins easily yet extremely firm against the flint. It feels right. The electric torch side feels sturdy and good in the hand. The switch is in an easy position to go back and forth between torch and soft flame. Only problem as it is with all refillable lighters. You gotta dial in the amount of fuel your giving your flame. Torch side was extra sensitive. And really only works for one size flame. Not a drawback with me because it is right where I set the torch. A good solid hot flame. Nothing so crazy your could burn through a tin can if you wanted to. But not weak. Your still running hotter than soft flame. The soft flame has a much wider range of amount of fuel you can give you flame. You can go little to really talk. As far as flame size is concerned it fit my tastes perfectly. Hopefully fits yours as well. Because this feels great in your hand. Lights every time And looks nice too. I do wish it held a bit more fuel. But I guess that's what you get for having both torch and soft flame mechanisms so I am ignoring that with this lighter. A+

Good lighter, but NOT 4 SURVIVAL or camping
The lighter is solid and feels great. I love it at sea level and both flames work great there. The Torch rarely lights on the first attempt but always on the second, the soft flame works flawlessly. The problem is I took it with me on a trip to the mountains and after I got above 4000 feet over sea level the Torch never worked again until I came home, back to sea level. I spent a week around 7000 ft, so I was extremely disappointed because I wanted the Torch because it's gets extremely windy and soft flames get blown out instantly.

A little PATIENCE will REWARD you....
**Another update: I just made my 4th purchase! I want everyone that buys this lighter to know 1 very important thing... if you are getting a soft flame but no jet, or vice versa, or nothing at all, obviously the flame adjustments (1 for each flame type) on the bottom should be tweaked. BUT, despite being independant adjustments, they share a fuel tank and thus somehow, someway effect each others fuel output. So, adjust each one A HAIR AT A TIME. The slightest nudge of the screw(s) has tremendous impact. If you take your time and, again, nudge the screw A HAIR AT A TIME (either clockwise or counter-clockwise). YOU WILL FIND THE SWEET SPOT THAT RESULTS IN 100% flame for both everytime.. or until the fuel runs out. Simply amazing! This lighter has both a torch type flame and a standard "fire" flame, both of which are independently adjustable. Another fantastic feature is a little on/off switch that keeps the "fire" flame lit without having to hold anything! This lighter feels like it is made of quality, durable materials that will hopefully last a lifetime! *** UPDATE: I just wanted to make sure that everyone realizes that when your lighter spark wheel no longer produces a spark to ignite the "soft" (yellow) flame, the spark wheel can be pulled out, giving you access to remove the old flint and replace it. If you happen to hoard empty disposal lighters you now have immediate access to flint to use in this lighter!! Just remove the outer cap and then very slowly begin removing the spark wheel. Cup your hands around this area so that you don't lose the flint because of how tiny it is and also because it will go flying as soon as you begin removing the wheel.

great lighter but no instructions
UPDATE: little over 12 months and light use the torch flame ignitor has broke. these things are intended for long term use. this one did not make it very long term. i love this thing. it has the blue jet flame as well as the standard bick yellow lighter flame. there was no instructions. i added butane and the blue flame didnt work while the yellow flame was like 5 inches tall. turns out you have to adjust the screws at the bottom which requires precision screw drivers. that is not mentioned in the product description. people not prepared will find this lighter to be a waste of money. UPDATE: 9 months later and still works great. love it

Durable and Reliable 9 months of use and going strong
Excellent lighter, very tough. It looks cool, feels good in your hand and always lights if it has fuel. I have had it for 9 months now and for any lighter to last me that long is unheard of. I typically light mine 15-20 times a day for various things. It is small, expect to have to fill it at least once a week if you use it regularly. After 3 or 4 flint changes the o-rings on the striker assembly may break, no worries they are #5 1mm size and are very easy to replace using a nitrile o-ring. The Dual flame feature is awesome for when you need the torch flame, I mostly use the soft flame. I love it and recommend it to anyone familiar with refillable butane lighters. Pics included showing the wear and tear of 9 months of use.

Definitely not worth the money
Junk, the torch flame side only worked for about a month and a half (about three refills) I tried all of the adjustment range in fine increments and nothing. Also tried cleaning it and the best it will do is a weak flame once after filling and then back to nothing. On the natural flame side the flint material has already run out after just three months of use ( about 6 or 7 refills). For comparison a $3 disposable bic lighter usually lasts me around 4 months.

First impressions - its a great lighter and works perfectly.
arrived today so the review is based on just my initial thoughts after unboxing, filling, and playing around with it for about an hour. it appears well built, sturdy, and on the heavy side for its size. everything works as it should and its very fidget friendly. my only company would be that is is dark in color than it appears online. it is not silver but rather a dark gun metal. i really wanted a silver look. and its a bit heavier than i would like. its got texture on the body for grip and a polish top. i like the small details. i like that you can light the soft flame with the flit or the torch side to click and spark it. that way even if you run out of flint you can still light it until you get a replacement flint. and you can also light the jet and the soft flame at the same time and turn off the either one you choose. its very well thought out and useful. id buy another one, in silver, without hesitation. a great gift idea for anyone who uses a lighter. ill update if anything changes.

Flint change nightmare
This lighter is fairly solid for the price. Changing the flint is challenging though. Almost requires the skills of a watch maker. Overall good value, for the price. It won't outlast my already 25 year old Zippo.
