Rubie's Star Wars Female Stormtrooper

This product was very flattering and comfortable. I bought a small and there was plenty of room to move around in. The only issue I had was after wearing it for 30 minutes, a small hole appeared along the seem in the back. Just make sure to wear black spanx or yoga pants under the body suit since it is very thin and sheer. Overall, I loved this costume and I received many compliments! I’m going to patch up the hole in the back and it will be good as new.

This costume was clean and new, and exactly what I expected. I am 5'6" and weigh 135lb, and this costume fit me just fine. It definitely would also fit someone taller; I had a couple inches to spare in length of both the arms and legs, and the body would stretch much taller as well. It was not see-through as some have suggested, but maybe they wore a smaller size for their body than I did. The body suit was perfect. The helmet seemed child-sized, which ended up being perfect for me because I happen to have a tiny head. However, if you have a medium or large head, plan to use a different mask or helmet with this costume (or just use the front half of the helmet as a mask, with a string or rubber band to hold it around the back of your head). There is no way my 13 year old son could get his head into this thing. Overall, I would definitely wear this costume again and believe it will last for years to come.

I am 5'4" and usually wear a size 4 or small on both top and bottom. I ordered a medium size here. The top fit okay, although smaller than a normal medium, I can still fit in it without too much trouble. The bottom though, I barely fit into it and it was hard to take off it was so tight. Overall there was very little stretch in the fabric, so if you want an easy time putting on and taking off, order at least 1 size up, possibly 2 sizes up, from your normal clothes. The foam pads look pretty flimsy, but have survived one wearing cycle (putting on, 4 hours walking around, taking off) intact. It'll do for another Halloween outing at least.

First the good Fits better than expected On my gf and we got it pretty quick. The bad (which is most of this review) Not worth the money. It's cut in 2 different spots so we will have to fix it. The seem is coming apart in 2 separate spots as well. The white "armor" is extremely cheap and is so creased it is has torn in spots. The helmet is made of cheap plastic like a kids fire helmet and painted horribly. All in all I would have expected to pay no more that $15 for this. We will probably only get one use our of it. I understand that I wasn't buying something we could wear to a convention but I was hoping to get more than one use it off it. Unless you are only planning on wearing in once and you find in under $20,don't get this. I wish we would have listened to the reviews we Read.

I wouldn't recommend this product for anyone particularly curvy or with extreme measurements. I ordered a Large, following the given size measurements provided. I'm an extra small in chest, but an extra large for my butt, so I didn't really know what size to order. I ended up getting a large for fear of getting a suit that was too large for the rest of my body, but too small for my butt. Sadly, my butt was still too big for the suit and it fit really tight there, but really loosely above the area (near my tailbone). The fit was as expected, so I wasn't disappointed. At least until I saw the quality. The sleeves weren't sewn properly (imagine cutting two pieces of paper together and taping them back together, but the left side is higher than the right side. That's how it was sewn together), and since the suit is made of a foam-like material, when I took it out of the package, it was deformed somewhat due to it being packaged in a way where the suit had to be folded. I never took the head piece out its plastic because I knew as soon as I tried on the suit I'd be returning it. Other than this, I think the quality is as expected.

Though this was rated overall at a 3, and I readthrough nightmare reviews about the costume, I decided to give it the benefit of a doubt. I have a children's Darth Vader costume, and couldn't NOT have a Stormtrooper costume, could I?? Plus I heard the return policy is stellar, so what did I really have to lose? So first thing I opened was the helmet (stupid blister packaging, such a hazard!). Verdict? Yes, it's stupidly cheap, like everyone said, and since I knew about this, my eye was just on the suit itself. And I wasn't going to wear the helmet anyway, and I have a legit Clone trooper mask if I did want to put something on my face. The body suit was great! Being only 5'2", the arms and legs were just a skoch too long for me, but it's spandex so you can kinda roll and tuck things into place. My body type is average, I'm a size 4, with a small chest. I think people who were concerned about transparency may have been curvier (power to yallz!), because I have big calves and thunder thighs (yet had no problem putting on the suit), they do make those areas slightly more transparent because of the stress on the spandex. But it doesn't really show too much in the back. If you're very conservative, wear a tank and hot pants underneath, no biggie. Overall, very excited to wear this!

I am very glad i ordered this. For the price i thought the quality was decent. The costume fit perfectly and framed my body well, and i just ordered accordingly to the size chart provided. I can't think of any complaints except for the back, which was a little shear, but can be easily be fixed by wearing clothes underneath. I was a little nervous about the helmet because it stated that it was two pieces, however, i actually love it because it can be adjusted. Then again this costume was a cheap price, so don't expect anything too high quality, but I was very pleased and would order this again.

Extremely disappointed with the fit of this costume. I am 5'9" and 145lbs and typically wear a S/M top and 4-6 size pants. I ordered a M and while I know I am tall, the product was WAY too tight. I could barely pull over my calves...so imagine the rest of the body. Unfortunately, the zipper broke immediately, but. was able to rock with the back open. Also, the helmet was sized for a small child. I had multiple people try the helmet on (just in case I have an abnormal head size or shape, which I do not) and no one could fit in it comfortably. My face was smashed against the front. My counterpart rocked the men's Ruble's Stromtrooper set which was AWESOME. True to size and larger helmet. For some reason, the men have velcro, so no issues there. Ladies- product looks cool, but I recommend sizing WAY up in the women's or looking at the male costume.

Love this - its a fancy dress costume however so don't expect perfection! fitted well (I'm a 10/12 and ordered medium - its actually very slimming!) and yes it is cheaply made but looked perfect with my imitation £10 white DM's - did already own a superior mask which I wore with it, but the one supplied is fun - as is this whole costume. Was told by another guest that she had 'Stormtrooper envy!'

El casco del disfraz es de muy mala calidad y la parte trasera del jumpsuit no tiene nada, es completamente negra, deberian poner una foto de ese detalle. Para una foto se ve muy bien, pero para una fiesta tal vez no tanto por los dos detalles que mencioné al principio. En cuanto a la talla, me quedó grande y me medí antes de comprarlo. La tela es de lycra y estira mucho, les aconsejo que lo compren una talla menos de la que usan habitualmente. Pienso que por el precio que pagué estoy consciente de que el casco no seria de buena calidad pero nunca me esperé que la parte trasera no trajera la "armadura".

la qualità del prodotto è discreta. L'armatura è presente solo sul fronte del costume e i dettagli non sono nulla di eccezionale. l'elmo non è ben proporzionato rispetto al costume e si vede che è una cosa economica. guanti non sono inclusi, quindi l'immagine è un pò forviante. Il prezzo tutto sommato dovrebbe essere un pò più basso. non è una cosa per veri fan.
