I love love love this bed
The size and actual base of the bed is awesome. I love the wood slats much more than wire beds or just fabric cots. The wood gives it an even feel and buoyant feel and does not sag in the middle. I'm 170lbs and i feel well supported on this bed. it is also long enough for me. It was easy to assemble. The mattress is on the firm side and is very unique in a way that I really like but i think others might not. For that reason I would hesitate to buy it as a guest bed for older Americans who are used to standard beds. I would buy it if I lived in Thailand or Japan or for a young person. This would be great for a community or for hosting people from the Himalayas or India. i bought it for a small room where I sleep every night. It has two sides, one side is supposed to be the memory foam side, but they are not that different in feeling. If there is memory foam in it, i did not really feel that at all so it must be like a 1/4 inch thick layer of it, but i personally really love whatever it is made of in its main part. I think this mattress is so different than anything i have ever slept on before. This bed is very good for my back which likes simple supportive firm mattresses. What is unique is that the mattress feels sort of thick or dense and almost solid, when you sit on it you do not sink down at all, so it does not have a spongy feel, however when i sleep on my side even on this very firm mattress, i do not feel like i have pressure points on my hips or anything. I do not wake up with my arms asleep. It has a magical buoyancy and bend-ability that is not spongy. I need to say different people like different firmness in mattresses and I already know I am used to sleeping on a 5 inch children's foam mattress sitting on a solid wood plank in my Van which most people would find a bit thin but I like. I also love the 2 or 3 inch self inflating pads that one uses when camping. So I do not like traditional spongy beds. Be warned the description of this bed is not what most of us think of as a "memory foam mattress.", but I think it is better than those for me so I lucked out here. There is something about it which gives just the right amount of lift and give for the body to relax on and its density has enough flexibility so there is no pressure points or pain like a hard futon mattress can have. This mattress mystery. What is not a mystery is people are used to different sleeping surfaces. There are tv shows were people who were homless for years sleeping on cardboard at first could not ajust to a bed when they were given a house. I would guess from my exp as a health coach and doing acupuncture, if you are not eating sugar and dairy and have, and if you do yoga and have a sort of flexible body, this mattress might be very good for you.

Firm Memory Foam woth GREAT Instructions
Ok let me start off with what I expected. I expected to open the box and have a giant booklet written in 12 foreign languages with one tiny page of vague instructions written in broken English. I also expected this thing to be highly uncomfortable; knowing my history of laying on these things with springs popping in my back. But..NOOO. I opened the box with not only one set, but two sets of easily assembly instructions in English. One of them as big as the box and super easy to read. The other was in a small pamplet..same and easy to read. It took about 10 minutes to assemble and then I laid on it. This mattress IS memory foam and it's the very firm kind. You don't feel ANY springs. I'm glad it's very firm so it will last a long time. We don't prefer extra firm mattresses, so we threw an old egg crate foam topper on it, made it perfect. We bought this because airbeds weren't lasting very long with teenagers sleeping over. I'm very happy with this purchase!

comfortable and sturdy
This is a good inexpensive portable bed. The mattress is very firm but comfortable. My guests find it just as comfortable as an air mattress. It isn't as wide as a regular twin but an average adult will fit on it just fine, The directions for assembling aren't very good, but it wasn't that difficult to figure it out and took about 20 minutes. The bed folds up easily, but the hook on top that holds is very stiff and takes some strength to snap it down. Its lightweight (lighter then I expected from the pictures) and moves very easily on its wheels. It feels sturdy when you lay on it. However, I have come close to tipping over on the side a couple of time when getting off of if and a bad angle, but it is low to the ground so a quick foot to the ground stops it from going all the way over, The bed is quiet, no squeaking, All in all for under $200 it is a good buy

Very comfortable
So far I really like this cot. It seems very sturdy, was well packaged and easy to put together. There was a plastic cover over the mattress and I did not notice any smell and definitely no mold like some mentioned. Some of the reviewers mentioned that the slats broke easily. Frankly I don't see that happening very easily unless it was being jumped on or a very large person flopping down on it. It supports a 200 pound person sitting down on it and laying on it. I find it very comfortable. I've not had it long enough to know how the mattress is going to hold up with extended use. I have it on my screened in porch and am using it to take naps on (I find as I get older I enjoy an afternoon nap sometimes.) I would not want to sleep on it all the time because it is narrow (which I knew when I ordered it) but, for a child or young person, I think it would be ok for that also. For for price I think is is a very nice cot and I like that it can be folded up and rolled out of the way. I definitely recommend it ... just don't expect a $400.00 one for this price.

Good enough but assembly issue
Well, I would give this four stars, except Iโve been on hold for the manufacturer for 50 minutes, being told โIโm first in lineโ with no customer service answering. So I have given up. When I received this item it came on time and overall it was easy to assemble, except the casters do not secure properly. The bolt just spins and the casters slide up and down and therefore do not tighten and secure. The overall frame and quality of mattress is worth the money for an easy temporary bed. It folds up well and is easy to store in a closet. Itโs overall smaller than a twin mattress length and width, but still good for spare use. An adult of 5โ8โโ and about 160 lbs slept fine on it. Admittedly, this person doesnโt move around a lot in sleep. I will have to figure something else out for the casters. Disappointing here because other reviews spoke of similar nuisance assembly problems.

Well built, I'm impressed.
The assembly was easy by myself. The mattress has an attractive material, the bed is firm, but not uncomfortable. I'm 5'7 and about 145 pounds. The mattress didn't sink sitting or laying. It doesn't creak or rock like other cots. It seems quite sturdy. Only slightly lower than the twin bed its next to. Its smaller than a twin, but I don't understand folks tendency to want huge beds anyway. Its for a small bedroom and I value the floor space more. I see this being a good enough quality for a permanent bed. Also the clamps were very snug and difficult to open. Some people said they didn't hold. Mine held almost too well. No complaints at all except ups leaving the box directly under a dripping roof that soaked the box in the 30 minutes it sat outside. Very surprised and pleased with it.

A very temporary solution.
I only recommend this kind of bed if you truly have no other option. You could get worse beds, but it should only really be a temporary sleeping solution. The metal frame is nice and rigid, but one of the wooden boards snapped immediately when I kneeled on it like you would usually do on a normal bed. (I was 160 pounds at the time) The bed is very light, which is nice for moving it around but it's going to slide all over the place from just getting into it even with the wheels locked, so expect to have to readjust it constantly. Also because it slides around so much, it's possible for the legs to start folding in on themselves in the middle of the night if you're not careful. The wheels are extremely flimsy, expect to lose a few if you roll it up even a slightly rough driveway. And finally, if you like the idea of folding this bed up and scooting it out of the way to save space during the day - it will only fold if you take off ALL of your sheets, blankets, and pillows.

Good bed, pay the right price ๐
Amazing single bed. I'm 220 and 5'10 with a bad back. This bed is comfy and lasted me about 5 years so far of light guest use. Tucks in a closet and the wheels make it easy to get around on hard floors. Paid 250 cad, says 1200 when leaving this review๐๐

Comfortable, but I'm not crazy about it
After only one day of use and a bolt snapped in half. The mattress feels flimsy, but it is comfortable. There are two versions of instructions on how to put it together, but neither version is clear. Update: Upgrading from three stars to five, as it has been sturdy and reliable ever since. Still not crazy about it, but I'm happy I bought it.

Comfortable and easy to unbox and assemble.
The bed frame is sturdy and the mattress is firm and gives good support. The frame doesn't make a lot of noise when I shift or turn, and when it does, it's barely noticeable. The bed is narrow, which I like, doesn't take up too much room, is easy to fold, and is compact for storage. I wouldn't even mind sleeping on it long term because I'm small (5'2" under 120lbs).
