Incredibly Easy to Sprinkle and Vacuum
Carpet Fresh Powder in Mountain Essence is an easy-to-use carpet deodorizer that leaves a crisp, clean scent, though it may temporarily confuse pets. The Pros Fresh scent: The Mountain Essence smells clean and sweet like crisp mountain air. Simple application: The bottle is easy to shake side to side for an even sprinkle. Easy cleanup: The powder vacuums up quickly after just five minutes. The Cons Pet reaction: The strong new odor made my dog uneasy at first. He scratched at the carpet in confusion, but he is slowly getting used to it over time. How I Use It, I sprinkle the powder evenly over the rug, I wait five minutes, I vacuum it right up with no mess left behind.

Smells great but deceiving!
I ordered a box of 12 of the gardenia scented carpet powder freshener. No problems with packaging all came intact and undamaged. The cans are easy to use and pop the top and sprinkle let sit then vacuum. The scent is wonderful, I love it. After you vacuum though you don’t really smell it anymore or at least I don’t which is disappointing. So it doesn’t really last. I don’t believe it would be safe for pets to ingest or walk on as they may absorb it or it could irritate their skin. The other big drawbacks is the deception in the amount of powder you get in each container. You’d think each was full to the top but they are not. It takes an entire container to do just an average sized room. I wasn’t expecting to have to use a can per room. My picture shows that they are filled just above half way but not even to three quarters. My first container looked like it had even less. Although I like the smell and idea of the application, because the smell doesn’t last and the fact that you get so little and have to use so much each time, it’s not money well spent. It’s better just to find scent sticks, diffuser, or a spray for after vacuuming.
