I am DIYer and finished tiling our small bathroom floor (35 sq ft). I originally bought the cross shaped spacers you find at Lowes/Home Depot and tested them out and realized it was going to be a huge pain with those since I was using hexagon tiles. I watched a Youtube video and a guy recommended these. Wow -- they are so much better than those cross ones! You just grab them and pop them into place with ease instead of fumbling around and wasting time. They may be a little more expensive than your typical spacers but it's so worth it for the time and hassle you save. I bought 2 boxes and it wasn't enough for my small floor because I used 2 U's on each side of the hexagon. But I did my floor over 3 days and just reused the ones I had used the day before. They all came out with relative ease. Only a few got sort of stuck where I had to use a little extra force. Great product! I will no doubt use these for tiling projects in the future.

Now that I've tried these spacers, I'll never go back to the stupid little X shaped things from home improvement stores. These are amazing - consistent, easy to use, easy to find when you drop one. Bigger than I expected, but that's actually a plus. They do get mortar stuck on them after a few uses, but it's easy enough to scrape it off with a fingernail if necessary. Highly recommended.

I like the shape and size of these. They work well and you have something to grab on to when it's time to remove them. They are fairly easy to clean. One issue: one side is very smooth and easy to clean but the other side has some ridges that gives the mortar a place to stick to.

Perfect for the same space gap .

Just installed 8” cement hex tile in a bathroom. These large spacers are the only way to go. They are easy to both put in and take out. Great product.
