Laser Level, RockSeed Cross Line Laser with Self-Leveling, Vertical and Horizontal Line, Rotatable 360 Degree, Carrying Pouch, Battery Included (LV1)

This is a self-leveling laser with no possibility to adjust the angle, which means that you need to set it up at the height you need to get the line marked. Thus, you absolutely need a tripod. We use a separate, third-party tripod, which has a screw and we can attach the laser to that tripod securely. The self-leveling system is sensitive and it takes few seconds for the laser to adjust and to stop oscillating. However, after the laser is installed and adjusted, it works well. The laser lines (horizontal and vertical) are quite bright and visible on white boards in daylight.

Works great

I purchased this laser level for a small home project, and overall it works well. The lines are clear and accurate, which made leveling my picture much easier. One thing to note is that adjusting the height isn’t very convenient without a tripod. I had to stack boxes and place the unit on top just to get the horizontal line where I needed it. It worked, but it wasn’t the most practical setup. Overall, it’s a good tool for small projects, but I would definitely recommend using it with a tripod for better ease and precision.

Extremely useful. Used it to install pvc ceilings in my bathroom. The self leveling function took away having to level the base and then attaching the laser. All in a single move.

It's good for its price, for a short distance. Its auto leveling is mostly good for picture frames and other casual items, but it's not accurately leveled. But I recommend for it's price.

Absolutely love this. As near as I can tell the maximum error at the edges of the beam is around 1/8 inch, so super accurate. Easy to use, accurate, what more can you ask for?

A minor point that maybe everyone else knows, but if the batteries are weak it won't work properly. You'll get the red crosshairs, but the device won't automatically level. So I changed the batteries and it started working perfectly again. Found this very helpful in hanging some wall cabinets, as I was able to mark the studs and then project the lines on the inside of the cabinets so that we knew where to put the screws.

Very disappointing. You can see that it's not level. The autolevel will occasionally give you a level line if you fight with it enough.

Light is very dim. Literally useless during day outdoors.

The lights are not as clear as expected compared to other brands of similar price. You better buy Tomahawk with similar price range. And, by the way, Green lights are more visible than the Red lights. Apart from that, it is good...
