More like 3.75 Stars Overall
This is a relatively simple media stand...bought it really for 2 reasons. I needed a place to put my center channel and wanted it aligned with my bookshelf L & R speakers for the best 3.1 sound. Putting the center channel speaker on top of the media console wasn't an option as I really didn't want to wall mount my tv and route cables behind the wall. My existing console stand didn't give me a place to put my center channel and drilling holes into the wall (which I had just patched up and painted) didn't sound like fun to me. Nor did I want to shell out $$$ for a decent soundbar (again, my audio setup via my Pioneer VSX-90 is better than most soundbars -- I'm sure that there will be someone who will comment that a certain soundbar is amazing and while it may be the case, those always seem to cost premium buku bucks!). Replacing my existing console stand was the more economical choice. The other thing that I appreciate with this console stand is width. My space is a 74" cutout in the wall and the width of this thing is great since it looks like it's practically custom as my previous stand left about 4.5" on either side which looked weird and wasn't wide enough to accommodate anything else (unless I wanted to slide the unit over to one side to create space but I didn't want an asymmetrical look either). All in all, it's a good stand. It is simple; what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG). There aren't any doors (better heat dissipation for electronics) or storage compartments. No LED lighting in any of the shelves. The shelves are adjustable with plastic pegs. This is (as almost all self-assemble furniture is nowadays) particle board with laminate that is prone to scrapes/scratches/dings. It is not as durable as hardwood but that's also why you pay these low prices.Assembly wasn't too bad (I put it together on my own) but there were areas that weren't very clear in the instructions (surprise, surprise) that I had to undo and redo because the pieces wouldn't go together otherwise. So be sure to really review/scrutinize the indescript drawings as best as you can but be prepared to pull apart and undo some of those camlocks and redo work to get everything to fit correctly. If anything, I wish this thing came with a couple more shelves (+ pegs) since my Xbox 360 and PS3 (yes, older gen consoles -- get off my back since I work and don't play much anymore unless you want to buy me a PS5 & Xbox Series X) both have wasted space above them...although this would mean that you'd also have to tap out your own holes to make this work since the last bottom peg holes aren't low enough. My fave/dream media/console stand would be the BDI Corridor Entertainment Stand...gorgeous but I'm not paying that kind of $$$$$$ either! So for what it is and what it offers, this is a solid unit. There are similar ones that are shorter in width (different or sold under different manufacturer/brand names) but same layout but in different laminate looks.

Well engineered-designed, nice looking, and reasonably easy to assembly
I assembled this by myself. It would have been easier with two people, but one can do it. It is well designed and the instructions actually made sense. I was surprised at how sturdy the unit was, once completed and how nice it looks, considering that it is made from manufactured wood (not solid woods). I was pleased to see this good-value TV stand was made in Canada and not China (the land of human rights/religious repression and little freedom/liberty). I definitely recommend this unit made in North America.

Fairly easy to assemble. Thin to walk past but wide for tv
Seller shipped quickly. Arrived in less than 48 hrs.The middle shelf did have scratches. But I'm not complaining at this time. A small scratch repair pen comes in the box but it didn't try it out.It took me 1 hour to assemble by myself. I made one goof, mistaking the top for the bottom and had to restart. That probably added 15 minutes to my time to complete. The box is quite heavy, but when assembled it seems lighter. In using this in a game room for a Large TV and then a number of old video game systems. So i wanted the shelving underneath for those all to go. And all of the other bookcases etc in the room is black as well.

Good if you want to learn Carpentry
The holes were in different places and two pieces were longer than they had to, I had to use a driller for proper holes and a wood cutter for the pieces to fit in the right places plus it doesn't come with the pieces labeled.Overall it looks good and it's sturdy but it was a pain in the ass trying to figure how to put it together because of the incompetence of the people who made it.

Perfect Size for a 75in TV
Beautiful TV stand, goes great with my two bookshelves. It was really easy to assemble and it's very sturdy. I'm surprised how tall it is, I was expecting it to be smaller but it's perfect.

I wanted to love this ...
I wanted to love this so much but was disappointed . The assembly went well until we got to Step 5, where we had to put the top on, only to notice that the pegs went through the wood , ruining it . Just when we thought it couldn’t get any worse when we tried putting on the final side panel we noticed the pegs and the holes didn’t match up ! All the rest were great but just one didn’t fit . The frustration in this was absolutely horrible ! We had to make some cosmetic fixes and drill new holes in to make it useable .
