Bought this for use by a visitor to the UK from Australia who was feeling cold even in the UK summer. It proved to be very useful, effective and attractive.The one star I've deducted is because it was a bit too long and I would've preferred different size options.I would be happy to recommend this to anyone who is feeling the cold especially as the cost of energy/heating in the UK is rising so dramatically.

I bought this item in November 2016 & am reviewing it now as I have just purchased another - for change of colour.I live in an old house on top of an exposed hill, it's cold & draughty and this is great for sitting/lying on the sofa. The fabric is plush and soft, even after the years of wearing, washing, toy poodle & staffy antics and with its short, dense weave it doesn't 'clump' together & become stiff, rough etc as many do.I would recommend this cover/blanket.Update - bought a second March 2022, in steel grey. It is not the same as the first I bought, but cannot review separately. The Steel one is lighter and the pocket is attached via overlocking, this is different from the original light grey I purchased. Haven't washed it yet, and whilst is is not quite as nice as the other, it is still soft & warm. So no real complaints!

I'm really pleased with this. I haven't tried a sleeved throw before and wasn't sure how much to expect from it. But I'm impressed both by the design of this one and its warmth. Despite being warm, it's very comfortably light. One's feet don't slip out of the pockets designed for them, so however restless you are, the throw won't slip off. I haven't needed to wash it yet but, given that the material is a man-made microfibre and very light, I'd expect it to wash easily and dry quickly. I'll confirm or update here accordingly later.It's intended to be worn 'backwards' - that is, with the opening at the back. This makes sense if you're lounging on a sofa. But I also use it when sitting at my computer (I have it on now). And then it's more comfortable opening conventionally at the front. That means you don't have access to the pockets but I don't find them very helpful anyway.

I like the comfort and colour but was very disappointed that when I opened it the stitch around one of the arms was very shabby and wasn't stitched up properly on the other arm that there was a whole

very impressed with size of item, well made, lovely colour (deep purple), i am 5ft 8inches and plump and the item fits me well with many inches to spare, love the large deep pockets and the upturn at the bottom for your feet, arms are wide and long, really looking forward to using in the coming months and will probably be a nice alternative to the duvet on warmer nights too, arrived promptly, well packaged and well worth the money

I bought this for my elderly father who feels the cold. Both he and my mother assure me its very warm, light and in daily use. He finds the sleeves very useful when reading but I don't think he's using the leg pockets.

Bought as a gift for someone who is always complaining of feeling cold. It's beautifully finished, true to colour, and has a soft, cosy feel to it, and I thought how delighted she would be to receive it...so far I have received thanks, but been told she won't use it as it's too difficult to put it back in the bag!!! Hopefully it's the thought that counts!
