What a smart idea!
These are so slick to add to a planting area away from my normal sub line for irrigation purposes. You have to be able to accomodate the additional height on your sprinkler head, though.

Awesome Drip Hose Adapter
I used this adapter on a Hunter sprinkler. I unscrewed the sprinkler body, screwed the adapter to the bottom of body, connected the drip hose, made some room in the ground to fit the drip hose in the ground, screwed the body with adapter to the outlet. Done, took me 5min.The best part is that you don’t need a pressure regulator for the drip hose and you retain the sprinkler head.

It's worth adding a gasket to the kit

Easy installation, works at advertised.
Worked as advertised. Makes it possible to drip irrigate some pots using the water already coming to the grass sprinkler. Ready installation (although if adding to an existing sprinkler, you're going to have to dig down to the existing riser to add this extention. Depending on your skill, this may or may not be a problem.

Good quality
This is a good quality. Very handy to feed a drip line from a sprinkler. I used it in a flower bed to water a planter.

Ok for price
Update- last two I bought broke quicker than the first ones. Needs replacing too frequently. The last break was at the small side tube which is different than last time.Prior comments:Great for the price. It raises up the sprinkler head so you probably also want to buy a shorter head at the same time. Otherwise the mower can hit and break this. It is the weak point so fortunately it doesn’t break a pipe or anything so you just get a new one and swap it out. I’ve had to swap it out twice over two years but no big deal. The hose attachment for plants/garden is a bit tough to manage pressure since it’s split and will depend on your system set up. But for ease and price, it’s a nice product.

I have two [2] water meters!
I'm lucky. The house that I bought 15+ years ago came with 2 water meters. 1 for what I can "drinking water" serviced all of the outlets in the home. The other only service the underground sprinkler system, I call it "irrigation water" and it costs about 1/2 as much as the "drinking water" since on sewer charge is included. So, I've added these fitting where I can and added drip or spray or emitter fittings to the 1/4" lines around tress, shrubs, bulbs, flowering plants, etc. I thereby use less water, and the water which I do use costs less.Dave@Texas
