Bought this as a Christmas present for my son as his first shaving kit, seems to like it so far no complaints Has everything in it he needed to get started

I used to use the leading brand 3 blade and an aerosol can of gel. Really loving this. Although the blade looks very similar to another razor I have the Bulldog has a nice spring mechanism so it pivots very well to follow the face. The gel is the best I have used and should go a long way - a ml is a centimetre cube so even this tiny tube should do 20-30 shaves. I didn't think I was someone who would use moisturizer but I really like it!! Be aware that Bulldog seem to switch supplier on blades so while sold as the same product the design can be very different. The blade I had with this was the type with metal strips each side of the blade (bottom pic). The new design, I assume it is as it is also sold at a local supermarket is all plastic and smaller (top pic).

It doesnt take long for the blades to rust after use, so be sure to get some spares

The bamboo handled razor is a robust travel shaver and comes with the shaving accessories. Great for short holiday breaks.

Need a Quality razor for holidays. This was a good price.

Way better than the previous bulldog range I've tried...the shavegel and moisturiser is brill and smells great too...shame the range of shower gels aren't as strong!....the razor is well built...however putting the blade back on is fiddly as hell so deducted a star as it felt like I'd easily break it...and I've only got small hands too....very clean close smoooooth gliding shave... I've used 3 times now and no sign of dulling...I'd buy more blades ...handle is nice and heavy..
