COLIBROX 55 Lb. Rugged Cast Iron Anvil

Looks great feels heavy like it should and extremely well made.

This is a very good rugged cast iron anvil as their product title describes. Not too heavy to lift and held up to the pounding when I unsuccessfully tried to straighten out 2 Western Personal Plow spring bar tubes. This wasn't the fault of the anvil, only that the steel tubes just won't budge under the influence of the mini sledge I was using. I'm sure this anvil will come in handy for other tasks I might encounter that requires it's use. I'm very happy I purchased it.

Great “starter” anvil ! So incredibly pleased with the purchase. And the delivery time even during a pandemic? Phenomenal customer service. Highly recommend !!

After the first use I put two 1-inch cracks on the face of the anvil. And trying to use the sides for bending 90 degrees I started breaking chunks off the side as well. It is cast iron so a softer metal but the indents go pretty deep. I would recommend this anvil to young kids trying to get into blacksmithing. They may not be able to hit it hard enough to damage it.

I purchased this anvil for use as a grip training implement. It offers up a lot of variety and is an effective tool for building up hand strength. Thanks.

Great anvil, wish I bought it straight from harbor freight....it was the same price. Only I paid $45 shipping here ....my mistake....... but good anvil.
