Mielle Organics Mint Almond Oil for Healthy Hair and Scalp, 8 Ounces

This is a lovely lightweight Hair and scalp oil. Does not make Hair greasy or weighs hair down. A little goes a long way. I have thick below shoulder length relaxed hair that is low porosity. This oil absorbs well and doesn't sit on top of my hair like some heavier oils like Coconut oil. Also it smells like Peppermint, similar to the scent if those starlight Peppermint candy. I love the smell! This oil conditions and nourishes the scalp and seals the cuticles on the hair. I really like using this hair oil, makes my hair smooth and soft. I highly recommend and will repurchase when I run out

I have 3B/3c hair and have tried soooo many products and none of them ever seem to truly work. This one…so far so good. I’ve only been using this for the past 2 weeks, so I’m still curious to see what happens in the next week or so, but honestly, I’m pleasantly surprised at how this keeps my hair looking sheen, healthy, and flowing, but not overly greasy, weighed down, or producing a buildup.I’ve been struggling with dry/itchy scalp for a while now. I started looking for products that would give my scalp the proper oil it needed without making my hair feel heavy, have buildup, and be a short-term solution to a dry scalp.This so far has worked better than any product I’ve tried. Whenever my hair feels a little itchy, I just squeeze a bit of this on the area and massage with my fingers. I don’t have to apply it everyday. I apply it every 2-3 days. My hair absorbs oils quickly, but the weather is also still, cold and wet where I am, so my hair can get dry and a little frizzy easier from late October to late March.I wasn’t expecting any miracle, having failed with so many products, but what made me take notice of the difference was that I was getting compliments on my hair and I wasn’t even trying to look cute or anything. But I realized my hair had a sheen to it, without being feeling super greasy. It honesty looked like I’d just come from the salon, even days & weeks later.I also noticed my scalp didn’t itch as much when I used this. I had a SIGNIFICANT decrease in dandruff, which was initially one of my biggest concerns. I have the kind of hair where even after I get my hair washed, blow dried, and straightened at the salon, my hair will be flaky. I haven’t been having that same problem. It’s not like I’m 100% flake free, but it’s definitely not as noticeable and MUCH less than normal.Id love give this 5/5 stars, but it’s still a bit early and I’d like to see how my hair reacts over time to this product, but so far…no complaints 🙌

I am trying this product for the first time and so far, I love the silkiness and softness of my hair. I take a lot of medications that tend to leave my hair dry. After trying other products, including pure almond oil, I feel that I have a new product to use.

I was looking for a light oil for my hair and this is it. It's light and not like other heavy oils. I don't like the bottle, it would be so much better if it had a spout but I can get past that. The smell is nice and it's not greasy. Overall I think it's a great light, everyday oil for dry hair.

No picture with this review just my word this product truly works. It has brought growth to my hair as well as added a machine and softness to it so it definitely is not greasy and it is a very ease of use so I definitely recommend.
