Can you tell me where to loop my tension rod ? Maybe it’s just me but I’m not sure what part of the top I should run my curtain rod through.

I hung it outside on the short side of my porch on a tension rod through the loops on the top. Next to it I hung a double macrame plant holder. It provides a little privacy and it's pretty.

Can I cut and tie to the length that I need?

Sure thing. Mine is the whole height of the doorframe, about 6 inches from the floor five or take. The knots tied are random and decorative. You could cut it and tie knots on the end if you like (:

Has anyone hung this from a wall? I want to hang this behind my couch as an accent piece to bring the living room together. Would it be easy to hang?

It has some weight to it!! Maybe some hooks and a short curtain rod of some sort. It has to be able to support like 10lbs I'd say. The top row of loops you can weave in and out of over your rod will accommodate about 1.25 inch diameter rod. If it doesn't fit, you can slide the rod through the next row of loops which is much much wider. You can cut the strings at the bottom to a shorter length, or knot them more or even tie them back to add some interest instead of just hanging down straight. It's pretty, do it!
