Looks just like it should and works great! I always have difficulty getting a small enough curler full of hair to keep it on the roller as my hair is long, layered and thick. This fits the bill. With the glove I can hold onto the hot part to get the ends properly on the iron without getting burned. It is long enough the hair doesn't fall off before I get it all rolled up. I am so. happy I took a chance on it. It is much bigger and longer than I am used to but it works so well I don't mind at all. It really was not hard to learn to use it. A free tip - to help my curls last longer as my hair if heavy and thick, I quickly roll it in a regular roller after taking it off the curling iron. It keeps it up and out of my way while I work on the rest of my hair. If I let it all set that way for about 5 minutes, the curls last much longer.

While I find my hair doesn’t hold a curl of this size well, I’m in love with this curling iron! I love the design and coloring, and that it takes a fraction of the time to heat up as some of my other curling irons do. The quality is honestly very nice and it’s a bargain of a deal when you’re talking about value for your money. It’s a longer barrel, so it might not be quite as easy to travel with as some of the shorter barrels, but I love this for long hair! 10/10 would recommend.

The iron is great. It gets beyond hot enough - actually 350 is better for curls but this goes up at least to 425. Go hotter only if you use this more for straightening and volume.The barrel is probably bigger than you are imagining if you’ve never had a 2” before. It’s good for really long hair.The design flaw is that when you are holding it, the buttons to change the temp are right there under your hand. I kept accidentally raising the temp! I mean it was really a problem for me and the reason I took off one star. Never had that problem before with other irons. Very annoying.Otherwise it was easy enough to use did a good job.

I love this iron! I use it more like a wand and wrap my hair around it. It works well on long hair and keeps a nice curl for a couple of days. Photo is of my daughters hair.

I don’t know why this got good reviews. It sat in the box for months because I moved out of state and finally got around to using it and it is too late to return. The tip of the barrel is too short to grab without burning yourself. When you place it on the counter it is top heavy and falls over so you can burn the counter top while parting your hair. It is hard to grip and maneuver. Very disappointed. I wish I tried it as soon as I purchased it so I could return it. You can only grip where the handle is so there is NO control.

Ordered the 2” curling iron.Pros: Color combination, finishes, temp control, longer barrel for long hair, good priceI really liked the longer barrel in this curling iron, it made a difference with the quality of the curls on long hair.Cons: Temp control button location, top heavyThere’s one Design flaw, the placement of the heating control buttons. Since the barrel is longer it makes the curling iron heavier which requires a tighter grip so it doesn’t fall out of your hands. The issue is that the temperature buttons end up under your palm which causes the buttons to be pushed and the temp fluctuating accordingly. I have fine hair and need the lowest temp to avoid damaging/drying my hair and found myself accidentally pushing the temp buttons up. It doesn’t take much for the curling iron to get super hot. I personally struggled with this issue and could not figure out another way to hold it where this wouldn’t happen. One other area of concern is the short cool tip at the end, it is very small and difficult to use without burning your fingers. If this tip could be a little longer it would help grab the heavier barrel and if the temp control buttons would be switched so the buttons are coser to the barrel it would make for an awesome curling iron.Unfortunately for me the Cons determined this is not the right product for my needs.

First have to say I don't usually take the time to review, I have never needed a curling iron for my curly hair, however now hitting 50 my hair has not only gotten thinner I've noticed a losing curls and hair is straight from roots and through my hair so many straight strands :( and doing my hair is stressful. First thing I loved how long it is my hair would always get caught at the end other brands so short, second love how I can adjust the temp, and finally third love how easy was to use and mainly loved!!! the curls it gave me looked amazing and full I really wish I had taken a picture.........I absolutely recommend this product
