A snap to install and sound amazing!
Here this is in my Squier 40th Anniversary Strat, only 1 screw didn’t line up. I may futz with it some more, but the Fender ‘guard dropped right in! These pickups sound amazing! Look up “Stratocaster” in the encyclopedia 9dating myself here) and there they are. Quintessential Strat sound, glassy, fat, and just stratty! Great price here too! Just like MPB says above, perfect fin and end result!

I love these pickups!
I installed this loaded pickguard in my Squier 40th anniversary Stratocaster because the guitar came with very bad pickups and a bad switch. The loaded pickguard comes with pickups, switch, knobs and pots that are prewired and are high Fender quality items. The installation was easy and took me about an hour. The Squier 40th anniversary guitar is really a great guitar, and the pickups it came with don't do the guitar justice at all, but the Tex Mex loaded pickguard transforms the Squier into a true professional's instrument. I have been playing guitar for over 50 years, and when I say this combo is great, I really mean it! In fact I like it better than my Fender Roadhous Deluxe, which is a great guitar also.

57/62 Set - Good Product Overall with Some Issues - Good Value
The first 57/62 pickguard I received was obviously a fraudulent customer return. It was dirty, had pick scratches all over the front, the pickups had big ceramic bar magnets across the back, and was the wrong color. The fraudster did take the time to peel the sticker off his new one and stick it on the cheap one he returned.Amazon made this right, of course. The second one I received was new and the correct pickguard, but it looked like it was wired by a drunken toddler. It did not produce sound on all pickups and did not even match the included wiring diagram. So, I broke out my trusty soldering iron and fixed it.Upon installation, it sounded good, but behaved exactly like an AVRI, which is to be expected. By default, tone 1 is wired to the neck, and the tone 2 is wired to the middle and bridge. I find this to be backward, so I rewired portions of it again to make the neck and middle share tone 1 with the bridge alone on tone 2. This works better for me in this guitar. I leave tone 1 on 10 and turn tone 2 down to 7 or 8 to tame the bridge brightness.Next problem to solve is the typical dullness when rolling off the volume. After trying a few configurations, I landed on a bright RC network consisting of a 150K resistor and .0047uF capacitor in series. This fixed the dullness while allowing some body to remain.Note: I crimped bullet plug connectors to the 3 connection wires, so I can remove and/or swap pickguards quickly and easily without de-soldering / re-soldering.The guitar these are installed in is a 2004 Strat Deluxe, and mine is a BRIGHT sounding guitar. I had Custom Shop 69s in it for years but always found them too bright. These 57/62s sound more correct to my ears and do not leave me working the tone controls on everything constantly. I don't know if they will be "the ones," but they are working well for me for now.All in all, buying one of these assembled pickguards is a great value. I have the tools and skills to wire up my own at any time, but I cannot match the cost of buying one of these. I saved about $75 by doing it this way.Good value and good product overall. Loses 1 star for not being wired correctly and not working from the factory.

Excelentes pickups

Toni chiusi molto belli. Soddisfatto

For me, a decent upgrade
After having spent money of a couple of decent Telecasters last year, I decided to go to the other extreme and buy the cheapest guitar on Amazon which turned out to be a Glarry Strat type guitar. Given its price, it is a reasonably playable instrument but very much amenable to upgrading.I had decided it was going to be an ongoing project for 2024, and the first thing I decided was to upgrade the pickups. I wanted to get something better without breaking the bank, so decided on the Tex-Mex pickups pre-installed on the scratchplate. First thing to note is that the scratchplate is design to fit a genuine Fender (or Squier) instrument, and the screw holes are not all in the same place as on a copy instrument. This wasn't an issue as it is quite easy to screw in the screws where there isn't a hole, at least on this instrument. The bigger issue in this instance was that the cutout for the neck needed to be cut down as the next on the Glarry has a larger heel than a Fender. This just required a decent sharp knife and some patience, although I suspect a Dremmel tool would make pretty short work of it.Compared to the stock pickups, these pickups have plenty of balls. I'm not normally much of a fan of a Strat bridge pickup on its own, but in this case it gives a lovely usable tone with a bit of light overdrive. The in-between positions give that classic Strat "quack".I would recommend this as a worthwhile upgrade to a lower spec instrument, and it's tripled the value of the original guitar too :D
