Comfortable and utilitarian
Once you take out the insoles to get the zero drop and master the kohaze (clasp) system, they work as they should. I did add a strap with velcro at the very top just for security.I like that they are so thin and flat and help me feel the ground as I walk, something more important for older folks with reduced sensations in their feet. They seem well made and we’ll see how they last.

Wished the Jikka Tabis came in a 12.5. My feet are too wide for the 12. But I still wear them around my home.

Fits to size
Fits great and comfortable, took a few try’s to get acclimated to the close tabs but overall great boots!

Size runs big, but there's a fix!
The size of the sole from heal to toe is spot on. That is, if it says 30 cm, the measurement from heal to big toe on the sole is 30 cm. However, the fabric cover of the shoe has plenty of give to it (I would almost call it slack), so if you wear a size 12 (~30 cm) US, you should probably get a 29 or maybe even a 28 cm shoe (11 or 10 US, respectively). If you leave the cushioning it works out a little better, but I ordered these tabi for a low-top, minimalist workout shoe.Update: The shoes will shrink in the wash with high heat drying. SO if you get the right size, avoid drying them on high heat or washing them in hot water. However, if your size runs a little too big, you can shrink them by drying them hot. I hope that helps; once they fit correctly they're a pretty great shoe!I like the fastening tabs that slide into little strings; I hope that holds up because I like the design. But mostly I hope I can exchange these for a smaller size since following the advice of other posters didn't help me, and I'm pretty sure the size comparison on the dropdown is for UK which is a size smaller than US, i.e. 10 UK = 11 US. I typically wear a 11.5 - 12 shoe, and the size 12 ran at least 1 size too big.

Great shoe
They fit really well almosty as if they are macthing the shape of my feet, it is a little tricky to hook it on but not unberable, i love them they make for nice slipper shopes or just fun to wear shoes, I dont reccomend doing physical activities in them because they can slide a lot so just a warning

Great so far.
I've only had them for a couple months and only used them a few times, but they work really well so far. We'll see how well they hold up long term, and if they fall apart too quickly then I'll probably reduce my score. One downside is that they don't have any arch support and don't have a lot of padding in the heel, so I would recommend orthopedic inserts to increase your comfort.

.
The right shoe at the separation is over sown and irritates my toes.

Comfortable
Super comfortable shoe going to be wearing them for my stay at the Waverly Hills sanatorium. However I do recommend buying tabi socks for them
