This is an amazing moon beach ball. We love it! We bought it to add to our collection of galaxy pool toys. It’s so perfect. The ball is made from an image (photo) that is actually from NASA. It’s an actual image of the moon. It is stated on the ball itself. We thought this was an added bonus. And then we noticed this little pocket opening on the bottom of it. Which we didn’t realize it would come with. Because we had purchased a “Glow Beach Ball” a while back, which has an LED light that inserts into a pocket hole in the bottom of the beach ball so it can light up at night, we immediately realized the pocket on the moon was probably meant for a light to be tucked in too. So we got our little LED out of out the other glow beach ball we have and tucked it into this moon. And voila !!!! It fit perfectly and lit up so beautifully !!!! If you search glow beach balls you’ll find one here on amazon, which we bought months ago. This same LED light in that one also works inside this moon. Such a cool perk. So now we can play with the lit moon at night in our pool. It also looks so neat as a little moon night light in the house :) ! Pics attached. Just received it today and played volleyball with it and it held up really well. We also have the Earth beach ball from amazon and it’s a nice addition to it !

Perfect gift for a space-loving kiddo’s pool party!

Bought this as a prop for an ice skating program. It's pretty much just a moon printed beach ball but it looks good, is sturdy and easy to hold. The only downside is that when I bought it the description said there's a hole for a glowstick (since removed from description) to illumine the moon however the vinyl doesn't actually let an light through so that part is pointless.

WELL MADE

I got this for a gift for 4 year old. Pretty sure he is going to be amazed. It is bigger than the moon he sees in the sky and it is a sphere, not a plate. Even if does not last forever, I hope it will open his mind about space. He can hang it from the ceiling in his room. I got the NASA Earth to go with it. I got a 3rd one to test it out ahead of time. My tester is older, was amazed but wasn't very tough on it. I will be surprised if it last as long with the younger kids.

This only looks like a moon if one is really imaginative. The “relief map” overlay doesn’t really do it. It doesn’t glow in the dark. It isn’t a scientific model. It smells very plasticy. It did stand up to being kicked around by 6 year olds for the night. That’s it.
