How many are in the package?

Just one. And it’s louvres get plugged up within a few days and slows the tail down appreciably. I threw mine away.

Where to get diffuser snap attachment

This will attach to existing sweep hose on your Polaris

Will this work on a Polaris 280?

Yes and no. It will fit your 280 just fine, but I found it to be very ineffective. I have since replaced the entire tail assembly, so maybe it would work better now. I did find my spray problem went away when I replaced the tail. I think it just became too stiff over the years.

Does it rotate to prevent scrubber from wearing out on just one side?

No, it pretty much stays in place. Doesn't seem to cause exceptional wear on the scrubber, but its a must. For years I had spotted windows and as soon as I put it on, NONE, no oversprays, nothing. Fantastic product.
