Hello, what is the pound rate of force these pins put out?

I have no idea but I can tell you it was extremely easy to use and I used it to replace the pin on the oversize wooden plantation shutters.

Which size louvers will these fit? There are 1 1/4", 2 1/2" and 3 1/2" louvers that I'm aware of.

I have 3-1/2 inch louvers. These work perfect.

How do you know if it’s the right size to fit the hole??

The little sprung pin is 0.13” outside diameter. The main body is 0.24” outside diameter. A loose fit is okay. A 1/4” drill will enlarge a smaller hole if necessary. My device fit the existing holes perfectly.

Will these work to replace the pegs from a island cabinet door?

No, they will not. The longer side is too large, and the smaller side too small and too short. They do sell cabinet shelf hardware made specifically for that purpose.
