Delicious Tamarind Concentrate
Excellent Thai Tamarind concentrate. It has a subtle flavor that accents whatever Thai food you are cooking. I think it’s a little pricey but should last a long time. Besides you don’t have to soak the tamarind seeds and strain them which saves a lot of time when you are putting a meal together. I made Shrimp Pad Thai and it was so delicious.

Perfect for Pad Thai
My family and I love Thai food. Unfortunately, we don't have a Thai restaurant in our town. So, after finding a simple recipe, I purchased this tamarind concentrate. It gives that perfect sweet, salty, sour flavor that you expect from your favorite Thai restaurant! Definitely will buy again.

Good flavor, quality, and value
Very good quality, not too sour, not too sweet. The color of the product shown in the photograph is accurate. Since you only use a few tablespoons at a time, it's quite a good value for the money. While it's a little less thick than some products I've seen, that may be standard for Thai concentrate. The bottle arrived undamaged and as long as you keep it in the fridge after opening, I'll last a long time. I'll definitely buy it again, if for no other reason than my experience with the seller.

Great for sinigang, healthier than the packet but pricey.
This is great for sinigang (Sour tamarind soup from Philippines) and healthier than the sinigang packets since there is no salt and no MSG, allowing you to control the flavor and amount of salt and MSG. We like the really tart sinigang with a lot of flavor so I end up using about 1/2 bottle for 2 quarts of water. The tamarind flavor is much stronger than the packet but at a cost of $5 to ~$0.80 for a packet it quite a bit more. Not quite as tart as the packet, even when using 1/2 bottle, so I add citric acid (which is an ingredient in the packet that gives it the tartness). You can add lemon but it tastes too lemony, or vinegar but then it reminds me of adobo. Much less salty and less of MSG bomb than the packet since I add to taste rather than overwhelm like the packets.

Bringing back the taste of India!
During my childhood I would visit India during the summer and I got to enjoy fresh tamarind. I recently got the craving of having this and I had a juice that was really good. I didn’t like all the chemicals and added sugars. This product has no added chemicals and taste. Delicious! I mixed it with coconut water and it tasted great. I did the same with almond milk and I still enjoyed it. I highly recommend this and can’t wait to get more of it!

Flavor is kinda blah
Product came very quickly & arrived in good shape. Sadly, we find the flavor to be rather "blah" - almost like too much water has been added even though it is described as a concentrate. Guess from now on I'll stick to concentrated Tamarind paste - I've had that before and it was strong & sour!
