The first thing I noticed was that these are HEAVY! They weigh at least 3 times as much as normal shoes. Since I was planning to take these traveling, this was a negative.But the weight became a moot point when I put the shoes on -- or made the attempt to do so. The plastic resists feet, so I had to struggle just to get my foot inside the shoe. The band around the top is so tight that it was painful from the second I managed to get one foot inside of one shoe. And the shoe is much smaller than the size I ordered. (It is marked with the correct size, but it does not fit like the correct size.)I never even stood up. I wrestled off the one shoe (as difficult as putting it on) and began the return process immediately.I will never buy this brand again.

I normally wear a 7 1/2 wide in a shoe, wide at the toes, narrow, and short at the heal. I ordered these Sloggers in the 8. With socks on these fit like a glove. They don't move up and down on my heel as I walk. They're not scrunching up my toes. They fit great! These have a very solid sole, another plus in my book. Working around a small farm, having a pair of waterproof shoes that fit so well is awesome! Other reviewers have mentioned the "short" heel on these shoes. They're correct, but that short heel fits my short, narrow heel just fine. I also do not think I would want to wear these without socks because they're made of a solid material. In other words, they don't breath, and would probably cause my feet to sweat. If I can remember to do it, I will update this review in the Spring after I've had a winter to test them out in. My hope is that these will last a long time. We'll see.Update, it's July 2018. I've been wearing these shoes through Fall, Winter, Spring, and well into the summer. The only draw back is they are not suited for cold gound. In other words, they will not keep your feet warm during the winter, while working outside. They do keep your feet dry. I love these so much that I bought a second pair to keep for wearing on those rainy, running errands days. The second pair goes well with my blue jeans, and again, keep my feet dry, and here in NC it's been a rather wet summer. As for the first pair, nothing is wearing out on these shoes!

I bought these to feed my birds and critters, walk my dogs, water my garden, etc when dew is out or it's been rainy. They do the job. I usually wear an 8-81/2. My foot is about 9" long and 3 1/4" at the widest. I ordered a 9 to be safe. Well these are plenty big. I may try a size 8 next time or order the inserts. The size 9 is approx 10 1/8 " long and 4 1/4" at the widest. I don't have a high or low arch, just average. These can slip on me, but are not too tight anywhere. My feet do sweat in these if I wear for a while, especially in the Atlanta humidity. But they will keep feet clean and dry. They are nicely made and very pretty. Easy to slip off and on.

I like them.I wear a size 8 to 8.5 so ordered an 8 in these - the fit is excellent.The insoles are removable so you can use your own insoles in these - added bonus. Also the heel area underneath the 'factory' insole is built up some to provide extra cushion in that area.I bought these to use outside in the garden when it is a little too wet so I don't mess up my better shoes. They are a smooth design that should keep my feet clean for quick times outside, yet are a solid design so as to not allow my feet to get dirty and need a foot bath before coming in the house. As well, these shoes will spray off easily when dirty.Update: These work well for my intent - keeping my feet and other shoes clean yet still being able to get in the garden when it’s just a bit too wet; however, they are made to stay on the foot and therefore don’t quickly slip on and off like Crocs do (like when needing to run back inside the house for a quick minute) but require an assist.Support-wise, they seem to be a good choice. I have worn them for hours at a time already and would definitely notice if the support was lacking.Adding socks is a good idea - my size selection is still perfect ‘with’ the addition of socks.Still happy with this purchase!

I've only had them one day, but I am so wowed that I have to post a review now!Quality: These look like they'll last a long time. The sole has incredibly deep rubber tread. The whole thing is built very solid and sturdy. Time will show if the clear plastic surface holds up against scratches - that's my only concern regarding durability. The design is adorable and looks just as good in person. I wore these to work (on a rainy day) and got plenty of compliments.Size: I'm pretty much a solid size 8, though I fit into 7.5 in some styles. I went with the 8, and they fit like a glove. I always wear socks with my shoes - usually medium to thin socks (Peds dress socks, in this case), and the shoes were snug but not too tight. I feel I could wear them with the medium weight socks (Peds sport socks, for example). If I were inclined to go without socks, they would also fit well. If you like your shoes a bit loose (or with thick socks), then consider sizing up. I like mine to stay on my feet without slipping around or off. Yet they weren't hard to slip into, either.Comfort: I was amazed at how comfy they were from the start. Most shoes require a little breaking in, but these felt wonderful right away. There was no discomfort, no rubbing around my toes, like many new shoes. There is nice cushioning in the sole, and the shoe is not stiff - it flexes with your foot as you walk. The heel does not rub, as some shoes do.My only slight discomfort was that the right shoe began feeling a bit too tight by late afternoon, and I removed it for an hour or so as I sat at my desk. It felt fine again when I put it back on, and I wore it the rest of the work day and through grocery shopping on the way home. I mention all this because it's amazing to wear a new pair of shoes not just all day but then also walking around shopping. Since I'm right-handed, my right foot is slightly larger, so it makes sense that foot would be the one to feel tight. I am 100% confident that the shoe will stretch a bit and that I won't have this issue going forward. Again, I like my shoes snug without rubbing, so these are a perfect fit.

Real heavy duty. The BEST ever versatile shoe. Great for just rushing out to the postman or something barefooted. Because they are only really to be worn with either thin tights, or barefoot. But the arch support is AMAZING!!🙂A++++++. You can tell they (won't) be waring out after a year. Unlike the cheap nasty garden shoes with a rubber sole. Nope, I got some for my mum, and two friends. Now I can't wait to get my own ones.You can tell the good quality by the weight. They are sturdy proper garden shoes. My mum uses them as slippers, because of her plantar fascitiis problem in her feet.Seriously, BUY these. And no I'm not getting 0aid for this review. It is a 4eal genuine review.

I'm really pleased with these. They were recommended to me by another satisfied customer. Very comfy, a good fit, and arrived much more quickly than predicted. I've actually worn these on a rough country walk of 2+ miles with no rubbing, sweating or discomfort whatsoever. They are great for walking the dog through mud or wet grass without getting your feet wet, or gardening, or any other wet or grubby jobs.

I am normally a 5.5UK shoe size so I bought the size 6UK. When they arrived all the way from the USA I knew instantly when I opened them they were not a 6UK even though its written inside the shoe. I did manage to get my foot in but my toes were right up and pushing through the toe end of the shoe and the width was really tight! In my opinion they were more like a narrow fit size 5UKLiving in Ireland I was unable to return using Amazons returns and had to pay for it myself. Amazon state if you organise yourself they will refund £20 for the return postage. These cost me 29 euros to return so I have lost money on having to return the product.

Absolutely great. I wear 6.5 or 7 UK and size 9 US is perfect. Have been wearing them for over 2 years. They are perfect for Scottish autumn and winter and all the rainy days. No problems with the heel being low, I just just slip them on. I think if someone is size 6 UK than size 9 US may be too big. The insole is extremely comfortable and the shoes could be wear all day.

I am a regular size 8 for all my shoes. These supposedly fit a size 8 , but sadly they are too small. I struggled to get one on, but when I did my foot was painfully crushed. They are beautiful, well made, and I was sorry to have to return them. They do not make larger sizes, or I would have asked for a larger replacement.
