A Secure Seal, Delivered with a Snap
The GAUDER A+B Magnetic Tape arrived in a simple, practical package. The delivery was fast and the item was well-protected, showing a focus on getting the product to you safely and efficiently. Unboxing was a straightforward process, and I was pleased to find two separate, clearly-labeled rolls inside, which is a small but important detail that makes installation so much easier. The look of the magnetic tape is clean and functional. The two rolls, marked A and B, are unassuming, with a black finish that blends in easily. The design is simple and focuses entirely on its purpose: providing a secure magnetic connection. The tape itself is easy to handle, and the strong adhesive backing is discreetly protected by a peel-off film. The feel of this tape is both durable and flexible. It's soft enough to be easily cut with a pair of scissors, but it has a reassuring weight and a strong magnetic pull that you can feel as you unroll it. The self-adhesive backing feels very strong and provides a secure bond to surfaces. The "A" and "B" sides snap together with a satisfying and firm connection, confirming the strength of the magnet. I’ve used this magnetic tape for creating everything to attaching a floating chair in my daughters doll house, to attaching a fly screen for my window, and it has worked perfectly. It was the ideal solution for my apartment where I can’t drill holes, providing a secure barrier against insects without any permanent damage. The ease of being able to remove the screen for cleaning or to let more light in is a huge bonus. I've also found it useful for smaller DIY projects, like creating a magnetic catch for a cabinet door. This product is a fantastic solution for anyone looking for a versatile, strong, and easy-to-use magnetic fastening system.

Adhesion to Mesh Could Be Better
I recently purchased the GAUDER A+B Magnetic Tape to use with a mosquito net. Overall, I am quite pleased with the product, though there are a few things to keep in mind. Pros: Strong Adhesion to Windows: The magnetic tape adheres very well to the window frame, providing a secure hold. Effective for Intended Use: Once in place, it effectively helps to keep the mosquito net secure and in position. Convenient Magnetic Closure: The magnetic feature makes it easy to attach and detach the mosquito net as needed. Cons: Adhesion to Mesh Could Be Better: The tape doesn't stick as well to the mesh of the mosquito net, which can be a bit frustrating. Price: The price is a little high compared to similar products, but the quality seems to justify it. Despite the minor issues with adhesion to the mesh, I am happy with my purchase. The magnetic tape does its job well in securing the mosquito net to the window, making it a useful addition to my home.

Perfect!
I made the mistake of purchasing a different brand without first reading the reviews. The whole reel ended up in the bin shop the moral of this story is read reviews first and go with a trusted brand. All I needed to do is fix a mesh insert to the inside top of my stick insect enclosure, but I wanted it to be removable, so thought I'd use magnetic strips. My first attempt with the other brand was a disaster. I was not convinced it would stay up and turned out I was right. As soon as I replaced the lid, the insert fell off and my pets narrowly escaped a sticky end. I tried again using this and could not be happier. The adhesive adheres firmly, and the magnets attract strongly, but I don't need to wrestle them apart for cleaning. All in all I could not be happier to add my recommendation. Thanks!

perfect for windows.
So much better than the Velcro hooks you get with the fly screens. Screen stays attached and it makes opening and closing windows easy. The mesh screen last longer as well as its not being pulled off the hooks and replaced causing the mesh to fray..

Product didn’t meet my expectations in full
The magnet strips works fine to fix the insect fly net but In my case; after 2-3 years of non stop using it the net broke in so many places so I had to make a new one. Since I had to replace the side B of the strips only I had to buy both sides A and B(there was no choice to purchase just the side B). Once I made another net with the side B of magnet strips unfortunately it didn’t stick to the previous magnet strips side A that I have fixed to the window frame 2-3 years ago, it seemed as it was not compatible with the older magnet strips. What a job I had! I had to remove the older magnet strips from the window frame and all the glue residue which was very difficult to remove. I don’t understand why the older magnet strips didn’t work with the newer ones? And this time I found the magnets a bit weaker than the ones I’ve purchased 2-3 years ago. Overall I’m happy with the net in my window but I’m not happy with the amount of time I spend to fix it, waste of the product and the magnets were very expensive.

Too weak, useless.
Bought this for some lightweight needs. Unfortunately, even without any weight on it, the magnetic strength was barely there and no use as a result. Avoid and try something else.

Impressive product at a premium price
I made a wooden frame with mesh covering to keep my house kitties away from open windows, and the tape was to hold the frames in place. It's dead easy to use. The backing strips peel off easily and the tape can be cut with a light pair of scissors. After straightening the tape out (as advised by the manufacturer) it can be applied directly to a clean dry surface. It's then easy to magnetically connect the adjoining strip with the adhesive side facing out, so the fixture (in this case my frame) can be pressed against it, thus ensuring the strip is in the right spot. (That's a free tip, kids). There was enough tape in the two rolls for me to cover one window, which is realistically about £5-£6 worth. That said, it works really well and the magnetic strength is enough to keep my frame in place, but not so strong that it can't be easily moved.

Used this to seal thermal curtains in a hallway to an unheated part of house. The adhesive took a while to adhere to the fabric (a few days before the strips would pull apart as opposed to pulling off the fabric.) I ended up having to leave a small (6") gap in the run to be able to open the curtains from one side. The other side, one could push through with ease. Seals the opening well, but takes a little effort to get the curtains close enough for the magnets to attract.
