To be honest I don’t remember buying this but I like it. I probably bought it as a gift

Mia the chia!
Taking care of Mia the chia & watching her progress every day has given me more joy than it should. I took a lot of the tips from the reviews I’ve read to optimize her full bushy hair! I did use less water to seeds to create a decently thick paste and it didn’t have any issues sliding off the clay mold. I topped off the water 4-5 times daily, emptied the water tray daily, misted her several times daily, and made sure to give her ample sunlight by an open window. Whenever topping her off, I’d make sure to dab off excess water from the top to avoid mold growth. I knocked off a star because day 10-11 I noticed it started to leak water faster? I would top off the water as normal and check back an hour later but the tray would already be filled with water when it used to take a whole day for the tray to fill. Not sure if this is just normal after the chia plant has reached full growth or not but either way it’s been a really fun 2 weeks with Mia! I’d recommend this plant for kids and adults! Fast growth and a fun experience for everyone

This Chia Pet is cute. The body is made of terracotta, so it needs to be treated gently so it will not break. The chia seeds sprouted, however they did not fully cover the terracotta as in the pictures.

Great gift
This was a super fun gift for someone who loves hedgehogs. It is not super large but not super small. The planter is a nice terra-cotta and does well to get plat the right amount of water.

Loved it, great gift
Got this as gift for my bf to remind him of the advertisement he used to see as a lil kid. We talked about it several times and I thought of surprising him with it. Not disappointed at all, he loved it. It's a great reminder of his childhood and can also be used to grow fresh cress.
